I don't it's fair for the lead singer of Dixie Chick to get punished because she spoke up against Bush when half of this country felt the same but didn't have the guts to speak up. So shouldn't we give support to Dixie Chicks by at least buying their single "I'm Not Ready to Make Nice"?

Is PITA secretly behind this, or is this just another example of how the United Nations has outlived it's usefulness?

So most Americans think they should be allowed to carry guns??? It will make there crime rate go down??? Make criminals think twice before commiting a crime??? ERRRRRRRRRRR NO!!!. It will do the complete opposite. If criminals think everyone might have a gun will they think twice before trying to rob them or just shoot them and then rob them. Criminals are desperate people often with nothing to lose so if everyone is armed the will become more desperate and the crime and death rates will be the highest in the world. Poor gullable americans. What will the think of next. Your opinons please

Who was our least educated and second least educated President? Civil War era, maybe a little before or a little after.

I saw television footage recently that depicted youth in European soccer stadiums, places like Italy, Spain, Poland forming chains of Hitler salutes in their KKK outfits (how the hell did this derelict institution in hillibilly South land in Europe in the first place?). Some black players were thrown BANANAS during the matches; I guess this is the worst form of nuisance behavior that's simply cannot be tolerated, even during the worst period of the 20's and 30's, black sportsmen in the US faced little discrimination on field.

Also, there's been rise of far-right political parties in European countries except the UK of course. Many of them winning political battles and elections. Isn't this a climate of hostility in Europe now, say 10-15 years down the line. I saw several German and French language videos on Youtube, that glorifes the KKK which is ILLEGAL in the US today.

On 9/12....people lit candles for us around the world. Probably the moment of highest respect and regard for the U.S. we have ever had.

What happened since?

Why aren't there more choices in the United States? After all, aren't our elected officials supposed to represent us in the republican style of government? It seems that so many Americans are tired of the corrupt ideas and performances by the two-party political system in the U.S. because neither party adequately represents the interests of the middle class. Do current politicians serve the people, or do they serve themselves by satisfying their own egos? And how many elections do you believe are manipulated in order to produce "the desired results?"

If you were to form a new political party in the United States, what are some of the ideas that your new party would put forth that neither the Democrats or Republicans have chosen to pay attention to? What would you call your new political party if you were forming one? Would you change the current structure of the United States government?

You christians love to state a verse from Leviticus "You shall not lay with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."

You use this verse to attack gays, but have you ever looked at any of the other verses?

Leviticus chapter 19 verse 27 states, "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head and do not clip the edges of your beard"

How many of you christians have ever done that? I don't see any Christians protesting beard clipping. If you have a problem with gays, why not hair cuts?? Oh yeah, that's right, you just can't stand that someone might be different.

How many of you christians wear clothes made of cotton and polyester?

Leviticus states "Do not wear clothing made of 2 kinds of material" Chapter 19 Verse 19.

Any christians have tatoos?? Leviticus states " Do not put tatoo marks on yourself" Chapter 19, verse 28.

And my personal favorite, "If a man commits adultry with another mans wife, both shall be put to death" Chapter 20 Verse 10.

In the US, every defendant has the right to a jury trial. They may opt for a trial without jury, but almost no one does. The situation in Japan is opposite: there no one chooses a jury trial. Why is that? Are juries more punitive there? What is the cultural and/or governmental reasoning behind this?

I keep hearing from conservatives that the reason things are going so poorly in Iraq is because of the media.

And the fact that, (as this is now been admitted to by Bush and his generals, and his new Secretary of Defense), they have been reporting the truth about our lack of progress.

Would the war be going better if they were censored and only reported propaganda fed to them by the administration and the Army.

You know, stuff like zero casualties so far, troops hampered by flowers and candy clogging tank tracks. Green Zone horticultural marvel, Iraq's committing suicide everywhere because they can't handle all the new freedom and peace. Stuff like that?

Oh yeah. What ever happened to Pvt. Lynch? Haven't seen her in a while.

Sorry this bugs me on this site, we get guys moaning of the muslim invasion of france who probbably cant speak a word of french, couldnt find it on a map or know the difference between Paris and Marseilles, we have had people passing comments on Israel who dont even realise what the Golan Heights are or why Jaffa isnt Tel Aviv, the same with Iraq.

I think you cant comment unless you have experienced it yourself, if you havent been to the place, havent seen things for yourself, dont pass judgements and opinions! Otherwise your basing your opinions on someone else, your just as much a sheep as anyone else! Stop moaning on Yahoo and actually go to the places you moan about, find out for yourselves! Stop being ignorant sheep. Sorry, rant over
