I think I should make it clear that I am NOT advocating this action. I'm simply curious how others see this volatile issue. Thanks to those who've answered so far.

The land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Stationed there should be 200,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

This solution creates peace in the region and gets the U.N. out of New York

Do you mean sending all the Palestinians to Iraq so Israel can keep the whole territory without bothersome Arabs to deal with? A terrible prospect that will provoke outrage all over the world and lead to more violence.

What you are proposing is a forced deportation of an entire ethnic group. The pros are so few and one-sided that they're hardly worth mentioning.

If I recall either the Assyrians or the Babylonians tried that...it didn't really work out.

Fine with me. The farther these monsters are from Israel the better I like it.
