the "torture" debate going on in the Senate this week? Did you know this supposed torture includes actions such as: keeping terror suspects awake for long periods of time, keeping them in a cold room, grabbing their shirts, making them stand up for long periods of time etc? Is this torture?

We allready know that the Pope/ Vatican has been traditionally:

*antisemitic (with ties to Nazi Germany in fact)
*anti-Homosexual
* anti- Abortion
*anti - evolution
and now ANTI MUSLIM/ ANTI ISLAM

did I miss anything?

I don't think the pope is sorry for creating outrage amongst Muslims. I think the Vatican and America are fighting a crusade against Islam and radical muslims since the muslims are basically anti-civilization.

shoots Nuns in the back (bet she was armed,right), burn churches (now that is so peaceful), Muslims say. "oh, the extremists are the minority of the muslim peopel (hmm, well, they dont seem to burn mosques because the "majority" of muslims are not true to there beliefs), well, I dont know, they throw names like hitler and stalin around like bubble gum but all I see are the extremists in the middle eastern news and the wests news killing innocents and not caring because its what there heathen god says is done by their faithful believers they have golden promises, but all cults have their golden apple to believe in, but no true religion puts death as a instruction towards peace.....decades ago they burned "witches" because they were afraid, I guess the muslim god is afraid people will learn the truth and burn them first.....who knows, all I know is hate does not solve anything it just creates greater problems....

3 levels of development

There were not always three levels of economic development. At one time it was divided into the Eastern bloc and the Western bloc. After World War II, people started using the terms "First World" and "Second World", but with so many gray areas another designation was needed. In the 1950's the specification of "Third World" was added. Even now, with so many countries that lie somewhere in the middle, these are the three levels still in use.

The “First World” countries are the countries that are the most industrialized. This would include a GDP per capita greater than $15,000, or higher. There are fewer “First World” countries as compared to “Second World”, due to the higher requirements needed referred to as a “First World” country. First world countries are in North America, Western Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

How dare the Pope reference a quote which makes muslims seem violent! This is Jihad! Who else here believes that the right thing to do is to become violent and destructive! Why are they opposing Bush and other Republicans on the clarification of standards of conduct under the Geneva Conventions? Some of our CIA agents are now taking out insrance in case they are sued for doing something illegal. The only thing I've heard McCain say is that he doens't want the rest of the word to think badly of us.

Why do they oppose protecting the people are are trying to protect US, and helping our own people do their jobs? Have those four gone completely mad????

should burning the flag be illegal or legal? post what you think . i think it should be illegal because if you want to burn our flag do it here so we can burn yours . the flag represents us and symbols us.people can say burning the flag should be legal for our free speech but burning a flag means you are doing not a speech but you are doing actions which are tottally wrong. but that is my opinion. so write me yours. its free speech.

knowing that the enlisted men of the us armed forces are typically rooted in poor or lower middle class structure of the us how dare they complain about the benefits and conditions of their servitude?? how else would they be able to attend college and steal jobs from the "higher class", not to mention those colored soldiers dont they know their place??next thing you know they are going to want a parade or some other type of acknowledgement. let us remind them they signed up to do a job so do it!! oh yeah god bless amerikkka. If the Islamic radicals get their way and they take over the world the only way you can live is to convert to Islam.

QUESTION: Would you yield to their demand and become a Muslim in order to save your life or would you remain faithful to what you believe in even though it will cost you your life?
