Bush and the Republicans are doing their level best to impose one. Fortunately, the American people are getting wise to this, and are the love affair with conservatism may be at an end. If it weren't for the courts, our last line of defense, things could be a lot worse.

What many people seem to forget is that protecting the intrests of the minority view is exactly what our judicial system is supposed to do. When they are accused of being "activists" they are merely fulfilling their Constitutional duty.
