Many Democrats and Republicans are both Christians. Where the problem is that Republican Christians tend to be more fundamentalist. Therefore as a Christian they see it as there mission to "save" you. Part of their lives is trying to control what you do but everybody does that to a certain extent. I usually just let the whole thing go because they have as much a right to do that as anyone but I still worry about extremely conservative or liberal people getting too much control.

I'm apolitical. I believe that politics is the problem, not the solution.
On the other hand, the loudmouth neocons who have responded to your question demonstrate their aggressive, obnoxious qualities far better than your description of them. They don't fit into the definition of politics so much as the definition of pathological mental conditions.

I agree, they're making all kinds of laws according to their
bible. Their bible isn't mine. I don't believe killing solves
anything. I also don't believe a group of Men should be
making abortion decisions for women.
The stem cell veto will always be a thorn in my side.
How they're getting away with it, making laws or changing
them to fit their needs is very disturbing.

Quit whining. Liberals try to control everyone's lives too. Ever hear of social programs? That's nothing more than liberals trying to run our lives.
So either accept that both sides do it (that's pretty much the entire point of politics) or you go first and stop trying to force your crap on us.

Your an idiot. You dont want other views forced on you, which is fine with me, but why the heck should we accept your views? It's a very ignorant thing to say that no on else wants to learn about Christianity. You don't have to believe in a certain religon, but it has never hurt anyone to learn or study about a religon. A little self growth certainly could do you some could.

We do have plitical rights and you can just get over the fact that we will use them. You can get your kind of people to oppose us and we will see who wins the elections. We don't have to shut up just because you don't agree. You get to be offended as we practice our rights.
Funny how when we win an election it is "vote fraud" but if you think you will win the election it is the will of the people. Maybe there are more of us than you can admit. Just because you talk to like minded people, watch TV made by like-minded people, and read newspapers put togther by the same does not mean you views are the mainstream.
GET OVER IT

"Nobody" wants to be like them? Apparently 50% of the country does. Why do you have to disparage people that don't agree with you, yet complain you're being disparaged? I think you misunderstand (and mis-spell) the word hypocrite.
