I've been reading in the news the pope said something about islam being violient or some such thing. In response the Muslims, I see in the news, staged violent protests insisting they were not violent and threatening to make war on the vatican if the pope does not appologive, and further stating they would give the world the option of being muslim or being killed by decapitation (if they didn't pay a tax to not have this done of course). So, I'm really scratching my head and wondering if the pope should retract what he said... Keep in mind that the Quran does in fact have rules in it for fighting a war, and clearly spells out harsh punushments for things such as shoplifting (cutting off the right hand), and adultery (stoned to death)....
