A Republican

- Take from the poor as much as you can to benefit corporations... ie, corporate welfare
- Let the poor, sick and elderly go without food in order to buy medicine
- Let the poor, sick and elderly live under bridges if they lose their jobs or hit hard times say from an illness
- Let the uninsured go to the woods and die if they get cancer or some other terminal illness that might be cured with healthcare
- Attack any Islamic country that doesn't agree with us
- Obeying rules is only something a democrat has to do
- Once again, rules do not apply to a republican
- Outsource as many jobs as you can so that corporations will increase their profits.
- Don't deport the illegals (Bush) because corporations need their cheap labor.
- Protest against America by protesting her laws... ie, abortion
- Happily accept special rights from the states for your heterosexual marriage
- Tell all non-Christians they are going to burn in hell for their sins such as being gay because it says in the Bible it is wrong.. meanwhile they go to bed with their live-in girlfriends or sleep with the neighbor's daughter.

Ok, I could go on for about 200 more lines but that is enough. I'm feeling too sarcastic.

Republicans make me sick to be honest.

The the term Republican most often refers to The Republican Party

The Republican Party (often referred to as the GOP, for "Grand Old Party") is one of the two major political organizations in the United States' effective two party rule; its great rival is the Democratic Party. The Republican Party has been the more socially conservative and economically libertarian of the two, and has closer ties to both Wall Street (large corporations) and Main Street (locally owned businesses). The Republican Party is currently the majority party, controlling the White House and both the United States Senate and House of Representatives. The term "Republican" refers to the form of democracy that elects representatives to makes decisions for the people on each issue and on behalf of the people's interests instead of the electorate making decisions on each issue.

Normally the sitting president is the leader of his party, controlling the national committee and taking the roles of chief spokesman and chief fundraiser. (The major exception was Eisenhower, who usually let Nixon handle party affairs.) President Bush selected Ken Mehlman as the chairman of the Republican National Committee in January 2005. The Republicans have held majorities in the House and in the Senate since 1995—with brief exceptions in the Senate in 2001-2002.

Ah new to the Tele vision??? How about elect ricity and running wa ter?? Rad io....auto mobile? Aero plane??And new to Yahoo Q & A as well as the computer world. My my. There are lessons to be learned here, to be sure. One lesson worth noting before you plunge right in, always check the % of right answers of those answering your questions. While this may not be a gauge of accuracy, it sure helps to qualify who knows anything about the subject matter. To be sure, many answer their own questions just to up their rating, but.....well, you'll do just fine.

Republican, let's see. How about doing a Google search. I assume, that if you made it to Yahoo, then you know what Google is. If not just use Yahoo and insert REPUBLICAN in in quotation marks: "republican". Incidently, the definition you get, may or may not be representative of the party calling itself republican. Don't be alarmed. Most Americans "think" they are free and have Constitutional laws protecting their God given unalienable rights, one of which stands out as Liberty. The Patriot Act ended that illusion. Some of them are only now waking up to that nightmare.

Republican:
well....have you ever seen that thing that hangs between a man's legs? Well, it is kinda like that. It appears to have a brain, but must be VERY limited because it only gets "perked up" and seems genuinely interested in what is going on around it when "it" thinks that it is going to get something out of it, that will benefit "itself".
Democrat:
Well, the Democrats believe in more freedom and self thinking as opposed to being a "follower" (repuclicans). aka: Ditto Heads~! Republicans want to "sanitize" the world and "create it in their own image"...... ( I thought that that had been done already??!!)Democrats believe in better choices and common sence ie....if we DID abolish abortion then Democrats KNOW that it will still happen, so why don't we just keep it safe. But Democrats STILL believe that knowledge is power....hence education on abortion and other optioins....Being a supporter out of love. This does NOT mean that we like it, but we believe in CHOICES. Not everyone is the same. Gay and Lesbian: Republicans don't budge on this issue because "they" feel that if others are not like "them" then it scares the hell out of them and so it must be wrong in God's eyes. Instead of BELIEVING and KNOWING that God created EVERYONE in HIS image and we should not judge others but love one another in HIS image.
Democrats are made up of many religions. Because Democrats KNOW that this country was based upon that Freedom. Freedom of Religion. And the Democrats stand by that!
Democrats WANT to help those who suffer and KNOW that God gave them the brains to use and come up with solutions to help....ie: stem cell research! Sadly Repuclican's believe to suffer is divine and should bring us closer to God.....
So I would bet that if a "Staunch Republican" accidently had a limb severed, that that person would want to have it replaced by a prosthetic. So why on earth, would they be against "other" medical miracles?!
Republican's thrive on fear... hence the war on a Nation as opposed to the REAL culprits!!
Don't be fooled and/or intimidated by those Republicans in authoritive positions. They are like Robots and are fearful of change. They want a certain "look". They are, unfortunately, blind to the outcome and the true repercussions of their being fearful and ignorant of the facts, while being in denial! Whatever you do. READ....read on BOTH sides! That makes you a very informed and a very intelligent person; well rounded. Republican's usually just stick to what image they want to portray, where Democrats get out there and care and make changes to improve ALL of our way of life not just their own! Stay informed, that is you best bet!
God's Blessings...

BIRDSNAKE~
Are you nuts? Blue Collar workers are; by the majority, a Democratic bunch. How on earth can you make the remark that the Rublican's are the working majority? That is ignorant!

If you're speaking of US politics, here is the difference:
Democrats seem to want the government to help everyone.: TEACH, EDUCATE~ That is what the Democrats do!
Republicans seem to want everyone to help themselves. : BECAUSE they are they are the financially wealthy, they kinda HOARD the monies and are stingy and self-centered!
Democrats generally prefer the idea of giving a man food.: ONLY IF NECESSARY! They are NOT a group of self-centered, non-caring group~!
Republicans generally prefer the idea of teaching a man to get his OWN food<--- THAT is just outragous! Get your facts~!

Right now, Republicans are people who work for a living.
They are looked down on, and made fun of, by rich elite Democrats.
Interesting thing is that welfare people look down on Republicans, also.
Funny.
