NO HE ISN'T
But I suppose he's really worried that some Arabs are gonna blow something up in the Vatican. They've allready killed a nun.
That's just pathetic.

Normally I don't agree with the Pope, and I do sympathize with the Muslims as far as what is happening in the Middle East, but judging by the Muslim's reaction to what the Pope said, doesn't it prove him correct - that Islam is a violent religion etc.?

After reading this question and over half of the answers, it makes me wonder how the USA has survived as a democracy this far. Surely, the lack of intelligence reflected in this material is not representative of the over-all population!!!The pope said nothing to apologize for and he DID NOT apologize. He is sorry for the vicious reaction to a non-inflammatory speech but the outrage is there within these Muslims and it has a hair trigger connected to it. An outrage waiting to happen!

I don't think you can generalize and say Islam itself is a violent religion. The fundementalists, the extremists are the violent ones who are creating violence under the supposed veil of religion, it's just used to legitimatize it, and unfortunately, there are enough dim-witted people in the world to be fooled.

He's anti-jihadist
even though he's well aware of the 'Holy Crusades'. Is he ignorant or something? Christianity has proven itself just as violent as the few 'islamics' that feel it's ok to terrorize people. Just look at Ireland.

Quit using "Anti" it "is" pro kiddo.
*Pro -Israel
*Pro-Marrige
*Pro - LIFE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Not against Muslims it just many who use that term have a very bad track record for using death in THIS century.
Pro- Abortion should then be Anti - children
Just trying to get the right language used here
And if you are going to blame the Pope for anothers choice during the war you best include yourself, in your history someone turned their back too.
With the best intentions I educate you or try

Ps My personal opinion after reading the Popes' whole speach in context is he had nothing to apologise for. Few seem to have read it through themselves and now a nun is dead sad

He said in a statement on CNN thta he was quoting someone else and that isn't necessarily how he feels about Islam....He did apologize for not making himself clear.......I think that we all say things in life that we don't mean, and we don't have the right to judge anyone else.........

I HAD CONCERNS FROM THE MOMENT THEY ANNOUNCED HIS WAS GOING TO BE POPE.
IT SEEMS FITTING THAT THE THIRD GREAT WAR, THE HOLY WAR, THE FINAL WAR WILL BE SPARKED BY A CATHOLIC POST-NAZI POPE. I HOPE NOT BUT IF IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN THE SOONER THE BETTER. BEST TO DEAL WITH ALL THE OLD ANGST IF WE WANT TO START A NEW FUTURE.
