Shouldn't it only matter we're all Americans? Politicians try to make it seem as if Americans are either far left or far right. I believe the American people are far more intelligent and varied than that. Why should labels matter so much anyway? And when will Republicans and Democrats stop fighting and get major advancements in American society done? Health care reform anyone?

And please, no Democrat or Republican puns. Let's at least try be civil and mature.

is it smarter to keep it in case of an emergency? Or would it be better to drill it and use it for a few years while doing some major research on other alternatives to power our cars, etc (not that it would happen even if it was smarter because of greed)?

He is also to blame for our 9 trillion dollar national debt--it stands to reason, because when he was president, there was a huge surplus of only about 2 hundred million dollars!! It's also his fault that the middle class is disappearing, but there are more multi-millionaires now than there have ever been!! It's Clinton's fault that there are 40 million of us living BELOW the poverty line, many of them from the Katrina mess, which, by the way, was Clinton's fault as well!! And it's because of Clinton that we have poor, IF ANY health care!!

ALL OF YOU miserably stupid, morally and intellectually bankrupt Neo-Fascists make me physically ill, with your inability to dispatch evil when you see it, your pathetically ignorant president, your "screw-you-I-got-mine" attitudes, your idiotically blind allegiance to a lying pimp whose age is also his I.Q.: and you do ALL OF THAT with your back turned on poverty, adequate health care, hospitalization, and education for ALL!!

My father in law told me that between Alaska, ocean drilling, and other states such as Texas, we have enough oil to last for years, but we are hoarding it to save for when the rest of the world runs out. If we drilled it, gas prices could be much lower. I have also heard that we don't have enough oil to do that. Who is right? Do you know of a source to confirm or deny this?

What the hell? About two minutes, watching NBC, I learned that not only has Bush stated there has been no connection discovered between 9/11 and Iraq, but V.P. Dick Cheney reaffirmed the same thing on Meet the Press. Am I the only one that is upset and confused? Can the Bush Administration lead us into a war into the wrong country and then say a few years later there was no connection?

Sorry if I'm not speaking as eloquently as I could, but I had to get this out as soon as possible.

My sister-in-law was born in California. Her mom, here temporarily on a work permit, returned home with her when she was still a baby. She's 17 now, has graduated and wants to leave her country of El Salvador to come to the states. How can she get her U.S.birth certificate? Her mom doesn't remember the name of the hospital. She thinks it might be UCLA Women's Hospital, or something like that. Is there a way to search for a birth certificate with only the birthdate and city (L.A.) known?

By not joining Daddy Bush's military
aren't they saying they are ANTI-WAR?

I know if Bush were MY dad (GAG!) I'd be
in the public eye and telling folks my dad
is right and would join the cause to show
my support and to say my dad is right.

Are the Bush twins AGAINST Daddy's war?

"I had a lot of friends die in Iraq over this war," said Cloy Richards, a 23-year-old former Marine who served twice in Iraq. "The war is taking away money that could be helping to fund our education, our roads and our health care in Missouri."

"Send the twins to Iraq," Anne Pritchett, a teacher from Kansas City, yelled before the reception began. "Our tax dollars are paying for him to slide in here and drive around in SUVs, the worst gas-guzzlers in the world.

"If Bush supported the war, he’d send his own children."

It doesn't. You can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater, and you can't even JOKE about assassinating the president.
Like President Bush or not, he's in until January 2009. All that talking about assassinating him will do for a person is get them arrested, hopefully for TREASON.
It's okay to disagree with the president, it really is. But freedom of speech only extends so far.

Ok, Yahoo Answers, the news, and people in general have really pissed me off. A little about me….. I am about 4 generations deep in servicemen. Me, my dad, grandfather, great, and who knows from there. I have my wartime service ribbon from Desert Storm in 1991, where I served in the United States Army. I am very proud to have served for my country, and I am very patriotic. With that said, the continuous wave of crap that I hear on a daily basis has just gotten under my skin. Maybe the anniversary of 9-11 less than 24 hours away has something to do with it. Lets start with President Bush. I think in light of the challenges he has been faced with he has done a good job. When people say we have been at war for no reason, it just brings light to the point…. most people who do not support our president have NO clue what they are talking about. Here is a project for you, do a search of gas prices in the rest of the world and let me know what you come up with..... I am sure you will be happy to pay your $2.50 a gallon once you know what you are talkin about. “Bring the troops home. They are over there dying for no reason” This really pisses me off. Have you ever thought the troops WANT TO BE THERE! AND THEY ARE DAMN PROUD OF THE JOB THEY ARE DOING???? And to hear some people say bring them home, and dying for no reason is a huge smack in the face. Weapons of mass destruction HAVE been found on 2 separate dates, for one. Iraq is a hub for terrorist groups including Al Qieda. Also the Iraqi people deserve the same freedoms we enjoy. It is all fun and games until your loved one gets killed in the next terrorist attack on American soil. I bet you will be the first one to squeal….. how could you have let this happen Mr. President.!!!! And I will tell you how he got 2 terms as president, uneducated people like you are sittin naked on their beanbag eating cheetos on election day....THANK GOD! If the Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. (like hell?) We are happy with our country and have no desire to change, and we really don't care what you think of Iraq, President Bush, Osama, my Momma, or whatever. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so! But once you are done complaining........ whining...... and griping....... about our flag....... our pledge...... our national motto........or our way of life....I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other Great American Freedom.......THE RIGHT TO LEAVE. Can I get a Hell Yea!
