I was watching some CBS morning news thing, and they were talking with these muslims. They were complaining how they were checked at the airport. OK, two things. 1. Its random. 2. ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KILL US LOOK LIKE YOU!!! Then they say who they are being treated different after 9/11. Duh! There might be a little tension there. And some muslim said "after the OK City bombings, did people treat christains differently?" What? He wasn't killing people becasue of who they are, what they do, and what they believe in. He was a loner, maybe a budy twas helping. But thats it. He is not a whole group. Muslims don't relize that if they don't stand up and say thay are against these killings, there religion isn't gonna survive. Sonner or later, we are gonna get so pissed off, we will destroy them. As the old saying goes, if your not the soultion, you are part of the problem. (or something like that)

but not if it puts us out in anyway....Is this the message that the people who don't believe in free healthcare are trying to send?

I understand the personal responsiblity part, but if someone is working 2 jobs, 7 days a week, has a wife and 2 kids, can't afford healthcare and doesn't have a job that offeres it, how much more responsibility do you expect that person to take on? What is so bad about helping our neighbors? Doesn't helping them make us all stronger as a whole?

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000
Presidential election.

Population of counties won by:

Gore: 127 million

Bush: 143 million

Square miles of land won by:

Gore: 580,000;

Bush: 2,427,000

States won by

Gore 19;

Bush: 29

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by

Gore: 13.2

Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won
was mostly the land owned by the tax-paying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in
government-owned tenements and living off government welfare..."

After we have WON a couple of small battles with those bozos over there, people are saying we are losing and that becasue of this, we have failed. Are people so stupid? Do you not relize what this is? Its their final do or die moment. Its their last push. They have relized that if they fail at this, they are gone. Thats it! We aren't losing, their just doing their final push. Happens in every war.

This hatred happened long before Bush. I can't believe this is the legacy of the so called "love generation".

complain about their civil liberties when they are scrutinized? I mean, if terrorist plots were being carried out by other white, blue eyed Americans, rather than complain about the rest of you treating me terribly, I would tell the blue eyed terrorists, "Thanks for screwing up the good thing I had going here."
I am sure there are some Muslims who do speak out about terrorism, yet I hear of more cases where fiery clerics come from the Middle East to America to speak in mosques about the destruction of America.... not a good way to make friends in the United States, nor is it a good way to prove to the world that there are some peaceful Muslims on Earth.

Do away with the banking system that holds so many people in debt for years, the government should issue interest free loans and mortgages for all the people.

It would also stop the influence that the financial institutions have over the whole country.

dosen't all human life have value?

if a person is pro-life .. they should believe that every human life is worth something. who are they to pick and choose who is worthy to live or die? isn't that somewhat hypocritical?

and before you ask ... yes i have been the victim of a very violent crime and no i do not believe the person should die for it. we are not God.

does society not see that the death penalty is NOT a deterrent? and if even ONE person is put to death who was innocent (and trust that it DOES happen), is that not enough to abolish the practice all together?

A more accurate mame would be a subcultural society; lacking the social cohision that gelled traditional societies together.The fragmented society seams to be agressive as different cultural groups compete.

Have you ever noticed that people get angry when they are hit with the truth. Nobody gets mad when you accuse them of something that isn't true. If you tell an attractive but bad actor / actress they are ugly, you simply get laughed at, if you tell them they are overated they get upset --- the truth hurts. Democrats are accused of being weak on defense, they get angry and pretend to be patriotic, you tell them tax cuts are good for the economy, they get angry and tell you Republicans give tax cuts to the rich (By the way, the bottom 50% of taxpayers, in other words the not so rich, pay about 3.3% of the tax bill --- 3.9% under Clinton). If you tell them we will win the war on terror, they undermine the effort and aid the enemy.

Why is it Democrats are doing all they can to sabotage the country, why do they give away our secrets, help and appease our enemy, and rant and rave without a single solution?
