I guess my nickname answers your question.

Would I *want* to change it? I don't think so. There are many attributes associated with my country that I am not fond of but to change what my country stands for? No.

In saying that, there is no other place in the world I would rather live.

We are a strong country built on high morals.

We have our share of problems and problem makers. Our problems are fewer than our achievements and our problem makers are far fewer than our problem solvers.

We love to live. We live to love.

We are among the first to come to the aid to others. We are the last to condemn those that are unable to.

If you are a friend we are loyal to the end. If you are not a friend it isn't because we didn't try.

Those are not exclusive concepts. I am very proud of my country, I think we're the best country on earth in terms of opportunity and ability. However, there are many things I'd change to make it better (like our insane aversion to taxes).

I am proud of what we are, and I am worried we're throwing away the fiscal infrastructure to maintain our intellectual, physical, and economic infrastructures.

I think most Americans will say they are proud to live here. I certainly am. The only things I would change are the very liberal democratic views on immigration, welfare, etc... They just give too much away...

I am a South African.

I was born into a tyranny into which eventually the truth blossomed & was nurtured by heroes such as Mandella & de Klerk. I now live in a democracy which is being swindled by crooks such as Mbeki & Zuma.

I would bring the heroes back. We need you two okes...

I wouldn't change a thing, well maybe get the more radical left and right to chill out.

Very proud, though if I could change it by ridding the world of liberals I would.

I am not proud of my country because of that retarded son of a bi#ch Bush. This country is way to superfitial and a very anti-art place. We don't have much to look at here either.

I am very proud of America, its history, its present, and its future. It is always tough to stand alone in the face of dissent.

nope, as long as my freedoms are still here , which they are, I pretty much has the same rights now as we had in the times of moses, difference is the punishments of now , but we all will pay the proper price for any sins/crimes commited at the time of judgement or for atheists they will sleep forever once this life is over.....
