To achieve the goal of world peace some long-term planning is required instead of short-term goals. War has never solved the problems in past and it will not solve it now. We must root-out the factors underlying the causes of terrorism and discontent. These basic causes are poverty, illiteracy and injustice. If these factors can be rectified no one is insane enough to become a suicide-bomber.

Hate to say it, but it may require some annhilation of factions which simply will not allow world peace to exist. Collateral damage and all. (Meaning innocents will be part of the price of peace.)

If we sink the Middle East into the sea it will be a good start --- and then allow Bush to run indefinitely to keep us safe.
