possibly because Bush admitted there have been no WMD in Iraq. Then Bush went on television and made jokes about they might want to be available someplace. This replaced into throughout the time of a White homestead dinner and over 4 thousand troops died and Bush is making jokes. The CIA suggested Bush 3 days before he attacked Iraq they couldn't discover any WMD. possibly Wikileaks isn't so properly suggested on the data.

Cheney admitted today that there weren't WMDs in Iraq.

This is from the MSNBC website - it's an article on Cheney's appearance today on Meet The Press.

"In the build-up to the U.S. invasion in 2003, Bush and other administration leaders argued that Saddam should be removed from power because he had stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons and was actively seeking to build a nuclear weapon.

Subsequent investigations concluded that he did not have such weapons, and in an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Cheney acknowledged that, “clearly, the intelligence that said he did was wrong.”"

Yes, he claimed that he was presented with false information. In other words he managed to blame others for his blunder rather than admitting that he lied so he could have an excuse to send troops to Iraq. He wanted the glory of being the president who took down Saddam, not matter what the cost. I would have more respect for him if he had just said that Saddam was an evil person who killed innocent people and needed to be taken care of, which was the truth. But instead of doing that he invented a reason to go there.

OAK RIDGE — President Bush delivered a 35-minute talk today that defended the administration's campaign against terror in the Mideast and elsewhere.

"Although we have not found stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction, we were right to go into Iraq," he said.

No, he didnt. He said they havent found any and they gave up looking 4 them but he'll never say their were never any there. Thats basically admitting the whole war was initiated under false/incorrect info.
