By not joining Daddy Bush's military
aren't they saying they are ANTI-WAR?

I know if Bush were MY dad (GAG!) I'd be
in the public eye and telling folks my dad
is right and would join the cause to show
my support and to say my dad is right.

Are the Bush twins AGAINST Daddy's war?

Just because they don't join the military does not mean they don't support the war.
However, you bring up a great idea. If both those girls were to joing the military it would send a good message to the public and to the military.

I support Bush, I couldn't join if I wanted to, but because I am not in the military does not mean I can't support the war efforts.

But, again, Bush or any president are still elites and it would be refreshing to see their kids enroll!

I feel that the kids of politicians should be given a fighting chance for living their lives the best they can. Consider what they come from and what their inner angst must be like--having to pretend to be something the "public" wants to see and never being able to feel free. One of the best things I've heard about the Bush twins is that they went to see Radiohead. These girls can't be all that bad and I wouldn't want them to come home in a bag any more than anyone else's kids. And leave Chelsea out of her Dad's mistake.

Do you do EVERYTHING your parents want you to? The Bush twins are not in the public eye at all. They have their own life goals and aspirations. They are adults and as such make their own decisions. President Clinton ran some military campaigns, did Chelsea Clinton enlist for her dad? Actually, did Chelsea support her daddy's wishes by becoming a playboy model or a stripper? Seems if she really loved her dad she would have... Silly silly question asked by a silly silly person.

Let Bush's kids have a life? Agreed. I hate to see any young person's life wasted.

But too, let's make sure that we don't have a class of people in the richest country in the world that feels they have to risk life and limb in order to get a decent education and chance in this world. And let's be sure that any war that "elites" vote for is one that they'd be willing to send their own children off to fight. And let's be sure too, that anyone who did go and fight -- in a right or wrong war -- is taken care of by the government that asked them to do it.

Frankly, I'd rather see my kid take up shooting heroin than join the military!

Sure, and if Cheney's daughter supported her Dad she'd become a heterosexual. Come on...let the kids have a life. You left Chelsea alone when Clinton was in office. Have the same respect for Bush's kids.

That's the dumbest thing I've read today. First off as the pres kids the secret service is probably so tight about security they can't fart without agent approval. 2nd by your logic you must support the war cause you are not out there next to Cindy Sheehan.protesting it. Lastly , my dad could do anything he damn well wants, he doesn't need my approval and I don't suppose George needs theirs, he has bigger preoblems to sort through right now.

YOU DAMN RIGHT. Its just like in Farenheit 911 where none of the members of Congress who approved the war had one son or daughter actually enlisted. Radiculous!!! Damn hick conservatives. You all have blind faith. Open your eyes.

If you supported your local police department, wouldn't you be driving a patrol car?

If you support firefighters, wouldn't you be smashing your way into a burning building with them?

If you support illegal immigrants, wouldn't you be picking strawberries too?
