In the past, the news stories from India were full of poverty and starvation. Tonite I heard a news story about a new problem India is facing: obesity. It is estimated that 17% of India's population is severely overweight. That amounts to about 200 million fat people, which is equal to 2/3 the population of the USA. The story stated India is ill equiped to handle the NEW health problems this presents.
I guess Americans, particularly the unemployed IT people, can take comfort in the fact that Indians are getting fat off all our jobs exported to India by our politicians and big business.
How long before the news talks about the problem the Mexican government is having with wet-back Americans crossing the border to work illegally?
Americans, we are being raped by our politicians and the world. How much longer will we allow this to go on.

I recently purchased a factory sealed X-box from a local Toys R Us and was playing it earlier this week. Despite it being new within the hour of it being unboxed and plugged in, it started getting warm. Within another hour there was smoke pouring out from all sides of the console. I went to try to shut it off and as I made contact with the already heated console, I was burnt. The result was second degree burns on my left hand and first degree burns on my right. I am finally well enough to write and type( but at a painstakingly slow pace). I am looking for some advice on where i should take this.

Should the Canadian government allow foreign or US banks to merge with Canadian banks to increase competition to increase competition and cut down on our service fees?

Did you know that Canadian Toronto Dominion customers pay fees for ATM machines and chequeing accounts, etc, but their TD Banks US customers pay no fees at all.

I read, daily reports the w's ratings are up and down. I've yet to be asked by anyone what I thought of his performance (although, I've given my unsolicited opinions countless times).

i am a 21 year old girl from iowa, anyway i got a job from someone i know. the problem is, it is 27 miles away and i can't afford public transit ($56 roundtrip). the reason i have to use that is i am in a wheelchair and cannot drive. it is way too expensive.

Every question about George Bush I see has about a million answers from a million stupid people. Well...more ignorant, I suppose. Some of them give really long, in-depth answers, which mostly come around to saying "Bush has an accent I don't like, so that makes him stupid, and he happens to be waging a war against the same person as his father, so he's just trying to make his dad look good." Seriously, EVERYTHING Bush-haters say is speculation, and it all comes down to the fact that someone had to do something about Sept. 11th, and no matter what, stupid liberals would hate the person who did because it would mean taking action, and upsetting someone, somewhere in the world, and that's not right.

and not just a regular collapsing of buildings due to airplanes striking it...hmmm...the WTC did kind of fall exaggeratiling and all so its kind of not hard to believe, i do not want the major republican "wing-man" of the bush administration to come here with there political crap, i want someone liberal and that actually researches...and hmmm..maybe even someone who has dealt with demolition.
