We all know the US still has plenty of oil left. My question is why aren't we drilling not just in alaska but on other parts of the US as well. Wouldn't we be able to at a worse case scenerio make the other oil rich countries relize they need to stop slaming us with these high prices if there threatend to have less oil leave there country. I could be wrong but seems to me we got a good bargaining chip. at least till a good realistic alternitive to oil comes around

Hitler attempted to wipe out all European Jews but allied forces stopped it. Would a similar influence stop Israel from wiping out Arab people or would the world stand by and allow it to happen this time?

We've been sanctioning Cuba for 40 years, to overthrow Castro, essentially. Are there examples when placing economic sanctions on countries succeeded in getting a dictator out of power? Has this method ever worked?

Serously, I am really impressed with the amount of truly genuine and intellectual debates that go on here. I've learned more here from just regular joes than I ever have from any mainstream news source or polyt-tic. Its plain to see that we are the strength.

Red states have the lowest S.A.T scores and the lowest I.Q scores. Parents blame the teachers, teachers the parents, and scientist say its because alot of inbreeding went on hurting the gene pool.

Some say the rebuilding after the cival war has left red states far behind in schooling. Of course you have other so called experts who claim that farming was and is over riding education.

Is this why Conservatives have the lowest intelligence scores. Has anybody ever listen to Bush speak? He sounds like a crack head. Some say he's illiterate which explains why he never reads the Presidential daily briefing.

I'm not sure what type of job I should take because both sound quite intriging and I have researched them both and I know which college I'll go to and everything. I just need help deciding to be an Egyptologist or an FBI Special Agent, yes, Special Agent. I'll work up to it.

School and property tax and then all those hidden taxes .

Why do people think it's ok to bomb Lebanon? Their government did not do anything. We are holding them responsible for the actions of extremists that they have no control over.

If you think that we should hold them accountable...then please let us know if you feel that the US government was responsible for the actions of Timothy McVeigh - after all - he was a member of an extremist group in the US. The US allowed that group to exist and operate (thereby harboring terrorists). Do you think we should've punished the government for his actions?

Before anyone reports me, this question is not meant to be inflammatory, though some will take it that way. So I do apologize ahead of time. Let me clarify: I am not for slavery, in any shape or form. But why was it so important to illegalize it, rather than legalize it, for everyone? Other than moral objections, of course. I'm just trying to illustrate a point, which I'll get to once a few people answer.
