Yes with limits on numbers, As well as fun it could be highly profitable. There are huge oil prospects in their waters And a further round of exploration drilling to start shortly.

I think you'll find we "claimed" them in the 1880's or so, they are some 350 miles from Argentina, yet some 8,500 miles from us. However, we steamed in with sword and cannon, stole them, and then, in response to the cynical withdrawal of forces that Maggie presided over, and despite the warnings that John Knott, her Defence Minister gave to her, that an Argentine repatriation of them was highly likely, she allowed them to be retaken, having cut the British army presence down from some 2,400 to just 28 men. The aggressive military Junta in power in Argentina seized them back, we went to war, got behind Maggie, waved the Union Jack like good little patriotic sheep, and some three hundred British forces lost their lives, at a cost of several billion pounds, in the middle of a recession, just for her electioneering scam.
Biatch.
And no, it wouldn't be fun to be there. It's bloody cold with rock, penguins and sheep, if that's your idea of a good time.
