I think that is an excuse for all (american citizens) welfare recipients to not work. Many American Citizens do NOT want to WORK for $10.00 an hour when they can get a check for free. Most illegal immagrants just want to work and support their families not be criminals. Our jails are full of TRUE AMERICAN CITIZENS. ... and for taxes they do pay taxes when they buy food/clothes and other stuff. They may not pay as much as you or I but then again they don't make as much as we do....

I have and it is a beautiful country with lovely proud people who will do anything they can to make you enjoy your visit.

I was impressed with the education system the schools and the fact that there are no homeless people and zero tolerence to racism.

The health service is very good and they have more doctors per person than we do in the UK

The people were friendly, and even though poor, they had an inner richness, they wanted to share what they had with us

OK so the big buildings need a coat of paint on them, but what's more important big flashy buildings or no illiteracy, and the erqadication of childhood illnesses that kill children in many other countries in that area?

the only difference is with a dictator you have one crook and with so called democracy you have a nest of them. just take canada for example how much of the tax payers money bin robbed by most of our fromer prime minsters and there cronies. and if you dis agree with our goverment then you need n fight unles you have plenty of money because they will keep you in court or what ever till the money and fight go out of you. the high ranking polition have an open check. you can't fight the system the only dictictors we here about are the ones the usa wants someting from or they need to protct there home land. were victims of usa propaganda , there not hero s they use the news to make excuse why there there no cause they care about ordinary iraq's but fer americas oil needs.

believe me im not for sadim usain or things he done but look at the news, kids blown to peaces and that not so dad as what was happening before, im tired of the usa flexing there musles and all other countries involv

The USA is only 300 years old. The middle east is thousands of years old, same with china, SE asia, africa, etc. Please explain to me how the last 20-30 years of american influence have been directly responsible for the last 5000 years of global ineptitude, corruption, wars, and exploitation?

I ask this because I hear or read Bush supporters say that we should look at the positives of his presidency and stop racking over the negatives. Well.. I understand that argumenat, and I am not a pessamistic person in any extent, but I believe every person does some good but when they do so much more wrong, that truly means we need to get them out of office. He is the MOST powerful person in the MOST powerful country in the world. His bad judgements cannot be taken so lightly. We ware slaughtering innocent people in Iraq by the thousands every week! Just for their oil. Thats right, so Exxon can get paid back for all the campaign funds they gave to Bush. Thats what I call: Blood for Oil. This is NOT patriotic. This is NOT how our four fathers wanted America to become.

That is my opinion, what is yours?

No one ever speaks of this or seems to care.
These Iraqi people were attempting to live their lives, in their homes, in their cities, at their jobs, in their schools.......
Our bombs and missles and attacks have killed at least 38,000 innocent people. Many of them Christians. But no matter what religion this number of innocent people were killed.

Marriage has been recognized with reciprocity among states for 230 years without a problem (generally speaking). Why now is it appropriate for the federal government to become involved? Much less why now is the federal governmant trying to revoke freedoms of it's citizens? This country has been founded with a separation of church and state. That is why marriage can be obtained by visiting city hall, having a justice of the peace, and be completely free of religion. So I see no reason that people should be bring up morality and religious beliefs of God in this debate. Yet most arguements are rooted in such origins. Can someone succinctly explain why then those who preach acceptance of your fellow man, are fighting so dearly to segregate them? I am not looking for the answer of politicians playing for approval ratings and election benefits of such ammendments.

It has been troubling me for sometime and the world cup as made me ask WHY do England sing God Save The Queen.
This is the National Anthem of Great Britain (Scotland, England Ireland and Wales) When competing on an indiviual basis Scotland, Ireland and Wales have their own. Should it not be the case that England should be singing Swing Low or something else.
You can't compete as England and sing the British anthem simply your not competing for Britian.
Any views on this??
