When will the rest of the world stop blaming the US for their problems?

The USA is only 300 years old. The middle east is thousands of years old, same with china, SE asia, africa, etc. Please explain to me how the last 20-30 years of american influence have been directly responsible for the last 5000 years of global ineptitude, corruption, wars, and exploitation?

When we are no longer the biggest kid on the block. The weaker we are the more other countries that become stronger will get the finger pointed at them. Certain responsibilities dictated to the big kid makes them an easy target. History shows this. The Vikings assimilated all over the world and stepped off the world stage as a matter of choice. Shall we just step out of the way and let other countries dictate the state of our economy, way of life, and the state of our freedoms? i know there are liberals out there for that idea. This war isnt about WMD's Saddam had. It's about protecting our way of life 50 years from know. Kind of ironic we are on Irans doorstep just prior to there nuclear proliferation while calling for the destruction of Israel and to facilitate the return of Allah by starting a true Jihad.

We've been directly in everone else's business since World War II. Even in the latest Palestinian election we contributed $2 million. We pay dictators. We teach torture (see the school of the Americas). We buy politicians. We have CIA agents everywhere.

Responsible for the last 5000 years? No. The latest in a long line of imperialists? Yes.

the U.S. is the most powerful country in the world and that can incite jealousy and hate. Most of the poorer countries are thankful and kind to the U.S. for the help we give them. It is the larger economically stable counties that compete with the U.S. for power.
