Why does our american media only show they bad things going on in the war on terror?

Why don't they just have the people of Iraq vote on when we should leave?

I dont want this to turn into an argument over the war, whats done is done and now we're in Iraq, and more and more Americans are dying everyday. Why is it up to our government to decide when the Iraqi people are capable of governing themselves. It's their country that's being occupied, shouldn't they have the say as to whether we pull out now or stay, and for how long we should stay?

Army raises maximum age again for new recruits...will more Repuglicons sign up now?

The U.S. Army, aiming to make its recruiting goals amid the Iraq war, raised its maximum enlistment age by another two years Wednesday.

People can now volunteer to serve in the active-duty Army or the part-time Army Reserve and National Guard up to their 42nd birthday, officials said.

It marked the second time this year the Army has boosted the maximum age for new volunteers, raising the ceiling from age 35 to 40 in January.

Will the Repuglicons sign up in record numbers now?

Who do you think are the best five presidents we've had EXCLUDING GW Bush and Clinton?

I'd really like to get an Idea of who people REALLY consider the best we've had based on accomplishments and not which end of the political spectrum the person hangs out in so I've excluded our current and immediate past president. And to be fair, here are mine in no particular order: Jefferson (Louisiana Purchase), Monroe (Monroe Doctrine), Polk (Texas and California), T. Roosevelt (Labor Reform and Environment) and Lincoln (Civil War).

Why don't the Republicons start a draft?

Repuglicons should start a mandatory draft
so that the military people that are on their
3rd-4th tour of duty in Iraq can return to their
families and the drafted children can take their
place...

I say: hands down, Dick Cheney. After everything he has done since the Ford Administration, he is a disgrace to America and will be remembered as the most evil leader in US history.

How come evertime i read something and try to discuss it there is all this crap about libs and cons??

All these idiots are posting this crap everyday i look at the discussions on a news story and all you see is libs and cons and i hate Bush...and most of these people are ignorant...how many people know what im talking about?
