I say: hands down, Dick Cheney. After everything he has done since the Ford Administration, he is a disgrace to America and will be remembered as the most evil leader in US history.

Dick's acceptance speach: "I want to thank Haliburton first and foremost. Second, I cannot forget my boy Rummie. Jeb, thanks for that ballot box magic in Florida. Dubya, thanks for the laughs. And last and least, thanks to you moron Dubya supporters, you paved my way. To anyone else: F**** off!"

Hmm.....you missed a bunch. (just the worst ones) Thadeus Stevens, Roscoe Conkling, James G. Blaine, Ruthiford Hayes, Mark Hanna, William McKinnley, Bob Taft, Richard Nixon, Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon (so corupt he gets listed twice!), Spiro Agnew, Newt Gingrich, the Reagan administration ('cause the old man was just playing "the president", just like in a movie), Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, George Bush, George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld. There are plenty of corrupt Democrats though, to go along with this list. Politicians are all the same. The honest ones are rare, and are few and far between.

Great question but it should be a partisan question and refer to politicians in general. Remember Huey P. Long? He was a Democrat but was probably thee most corrupt politician of the 20th century. He was a Governor & Senator from LA. at the same time. Even FDR held distain for Mr. Long. Check it out, it's a facinating read. However, I do agree with you that Dick Cheney is by far the most corrupt modern day politician.

The most corrupt is the one that is the most secretive and that would be George Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove.
Actually Nixon was not all that bad, all he did was a little spying -
same as ole Georgie boy.

Displaying YET AGAIN why the Democrats will fail miserably in the elections this coming November. Instead of focusing on the problems this country faces, you are stuck back in 2000 trying to figure out just how the hell you lost that election.

Can you name me the 2nd most corrupt politician of all time? How about the 3rd and the 4th?

Or are they all going to be the current administration?

Do you even know the names of past administrations without needing to look them up?
