the " mob " is into about everything...sports...advertising.....t.v....
radio....airlines...buildings..infrastrstrature...
government....that's the reason in my
opinion theres nothing left for the little
guy...if they chose to care a little bit for
the small fry...there would be a little moer
in the way of better living conditions for
some of us janitor types.....

It's called "outsourcing." Many of our jobs are going overseas - if you don't believe it, next time you get a call from a telemarketer, ask where they're calling from (could be a call center in the Phillipines).

Mainly due to global economics. If companies to do not get involved internationally, they will be left behind. Labor rates are much lower than in US, and that is why business are shifting locations. The down fall of US companies for the most part is due to union wages being way over rated.

You aren't asking this question in a paper are you? There is your answer! Recruiting is no longer a paper-based activity my friend. Get online. That's where the job scene is popping, especially with the forward thinking companies. Now if you are looking to be a newspaper delivery person....

Limited opportunities for what? Where I live there are literally thousands and thousands of job opportunities. Different areas are different though. You may have to move if you want something different than what your area has to offer.
