I think humans are the worst species on the planet. We are the only ones that destroy land, then decide that other species should be killed because there is "no room" for them. We are the ones polluting and destroying the planet.

Think if 2 possibilities:

A world with no animals (how bleak that would be)

A world with no humans (imagine the beauty we would not get to see)

humans are too intelligent for their own good. It's a lot of responsibility to shoulder, for one person, even more for a mass of them. And I quote probably the most overused and cliche movie quote in the past 5 or so years..."With great power, comes great responsibility" (I know!, but hey it works) Hard to do especially without a unified leader.

yes. humans go around with an entitlement that they are lord of this domain. too many of us have lost respect to forces outside ourselves. we are surprised and feel victimized when mother nature unleashes an incurable virus as a warning to mankind that he is treading on the rights of other creatures to inhabit the earth. we feel the same way when mother nature brings forth a natural disaster to warn mankind that we are fouling our environment and to remind us that we are vulnerable w/o our toys.

also, too many of us go about our lives in a haze and not conscientiously nurturing our relationships with and taking responsibility for what we do as individuals and to our own. the predominant thought is and has always been "us v. them". "us" being better than "them". apathy, fear- & greed-based lives makes us forget we are all in it together- we stay afloat together, we drown together.

instead, we've refined the arts of dodging responsibility and pointing the blame. fanaticism, arrogance, and ignorance are heard more easily than the voices of tolerance and enlightenment. too many of us are go around doing what we are doing, w/o any regards to the consequences of our actions on ourselves, mankind, the environment, other creatures, and the earth.

most likely, the way we are going, one day - sooner than later - we will find we've gone too far. hopefully, we will be able to recover just enough to keep us around.

Humans will continue to be the deadliest until we add collectively-aware to self-aware. We must learn to see beyond what "affects me" and see how the actions of "me" affects "us".
THis is not comunism, just responsibility. No "leader", or "holy man" can give this to you. You must find it for yourself.

God created us to be the ultimate being.

If you are an evolutionist, billions of years tell us that we are the ulltimate species.
