Given that only Congress can declare war (Article I Section 8 of the Constitution), when did Congress declare the so-called "War on Terror", and against whom? FYI, I'm not talking about the 2002 Authorizations for the Use of Military Force (P.Ls. 107-40 and 107-243). These only authorize the president to use force against "those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001" and to "defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq". Neither of these are formal declarations of war, neither under the Constitution nor under the War Powers Act. So, when did Congress declare war, and how do we know if that war will ever end, since it seems to be completely are the discretion of the Commander-in-Sheik.

If you knew we had limited time to bring that vision into reality and that it was possible (let's just say an advanced race told you just for the sake of argument....I know I know...too much T.V. again) What are some things you would try to get the people to lead so that the leaders would have to follow?

When they show pictures of Bush praying...
He looks like he's trying not to poop in his pants...
Seriously!

What brand do you think Bush uses?
Depends or ?

You still have sex? I think the best possible solution
to the abortion issue is for the Republicans to command
people to stop having sex...after all they want to command
of what a woman can or can't do with HER body...

Wouldn't this Christian issue be resolved by
telling people to either be gay or stop having sex?

Under the Bush Regime...
we have already lost all our freedoms
(Privacy online, telephones, bank accounts)

He said if we let him go kill the innocent Iraqi citizens it will be
keeping the terrorists over there instead of coming here...
In the past month...suddenly Bushie is sounding the "The
terra-rists are here...the terra-rists are here" alarm...

So why are we suddenly finding terra-rists
(His pronouncation, not mine)
here in the USA? Bush said...
"We're fighting them over there,
so we don't have to fight them here"
Seems to me like we're fighting them
here, arn't we? Did he lie....again?

So far I have not been impressed by the progress made by our presidents. I know this idea may seem why out there and who knows if she would even be interested. But sometimes good ideas come from seeing the world through the idealistic eyes of a child and my inner child is OUT. Maybe the people who write the show Commander in Chief could be some of her advisers.

Hell, with the top secret long range nuclear missle technology they somehow "found", they're going to be as good as US citizens pretty soon anyway.

See - that's why I also supported that 1998 democratic filibuster to stop our military from doing any testing of our missle defense systems.

I don't see an overwhelming number of illegal immigrants being teachers, or lawyers or even doctors. So What job of YOURS are the illegal immigrants taking? Is there a race to work in the kitchen of the local restaurant?

6-26-2006 Mr. Bush instructs Congress to pass strict new laws governing and censuring our Internet. Bush says Americans have way to much freedom of speech. He is such a thoughtful person, making sure our little minds don't get poisoned, he's great isn't he? But just a second george, if you censur my Internet will I still be able to find the news stories about Thermite being positivley used in the implosion of WTC 1,2 & 7? The story about Rudy Guilliani rushing in to make sure all steel beams and girders were loaded and removed from Ground Zero, with the utmost of speed; that news won't change will it Mr. Bush? Do you promise us Mr.Bush that you won't pull the news stories regarding the way the U.S. casualties are counted as deaths in the war against Iraq. For example, If a wounded soldier is not completly dead in the field, but dies on the way to the hospital, or anytime after that he's not counted as dead! Soldiers are only counted as Dead if they are dead at the scene of combat.
