i told this joke and was frowned upon, i saw it more as a dig at bush and blair wat u think
george bush and tony blair are sitting in the kitchen chatting.
mrs blair walks in and says " what are you 2 doing?"
Bush answers "Planning ww3"
"well, whats the plan?" asks mrs blair.
"we're gonna kill 30 million muslims and one dentist!" repies bush.
"Why the dentist?" asks mrs blair
to this bush slaps blair on the back and says "see! I told you no-one would ask about the muslims!"

I'm going to have this mole checked out by the doctor on monday, and I was going through the worst outcome in my head, that it could be cancer. It does have some symptoms, but not a lot so if it is cancer it's in the early stages and can probably be removed before it spread. So my actual question is, what if you had a cancerous spot on your skin but had it removed and do not have cancer, can you still join the military. (I'm wanting to join the army and I'm hoping that I still can even if it is cancer)

The AF and Navy have been and are still making huge cuts in personnel.

As a matter of fact that AF is looking at cutting another 3000 people this year most of them being SrA and SSgt.

All they keep throwing in our face is going into the Army after they give us the boot.

Is it just me or does it kinda seem that they are just setting us up to go into the Army. I know in my personal opinon. I joined the AF right after I turned 18. I now am married and have 3 kids so if the AF gives me the boot I (and a lot of other military people) cant afford to just say ok I will go work at McDonalds. I almost have no choice but to go Army......

Do you think the military branches are strategically setting all this up.

People keep going with that BS that Bush lied and he didn't. Its amazing that this hadn't hit the mainsteam media. This happened a couple of weeks ago

I was looking at diffrent Army jobs and I couldnt see how such jobs as fire department, dental, animal services, and those sort of jobs would deploy.

military but have never even had to listen to someone they love tell them what they have been through that day in "the sand-box" or how they watched someone get their leg blown off...damn for those of you that are so stupid because of your own fears about this country and what you hear all over the media....get a clue...talk to someone who's really "been there" ask them about the kids there....ask them about what its like to see their fellow soldiers cry...ask them what it's like to see someone get an e-mail from their wife saying shes been with someone else...ask them what it's like to see someone not get a care package...ask them...they might be honest, they might not..they might make something up if they don't have enough going on "over there"...but take it from me and so many others in my position....BE A REAL AMERICAN AND SHUT THE F*** UP ABOUT WHAT YOU "THINK" YOU KNOW...YOU HAVE NOOOOOO CLUE

I own an alteration job and was aproached by an nco, he offered to send me his trainees for a fee. I feel it is wrong so I know it probably is, but he keeps hounding me about it. There has to be a law in the military law book about it.

Alot of muslims are simply fighting to destroy Israel and kick the Jews out of the Holy Land. If they could defeat Israelis were do they expect the Jews to go? And would that not make them the same as the Palistinine refugees today? How would that solve the problem...it won't because the terrorist don't want to solve the problem they just want death to Israel, just as they chant everyday with such hatred! Death to Israel...Death to America...and they wonder why we think they are barbaric. I've never seen an American protest with ppl chanting death to any country!

Do you think that could it be other reasons? I mean, history showed that wars always hide more that one . Could it be anything besides Hezbollah in this conflict?

That's absolutely NOT true. I abhor the war Bush has started over in Iraq, but I wish nothing but the best for our men and women over there. I hope they get their job done and get home as soon and as safe as possible. My own father retired after 20 years in the military. I'm thankful every day for our armed services. Yet I don't get that people think you have to support Bush in order to support the troops. Someone please explain.

About ten yrs ago i was away at college and had thought that joining the army was a good idea for me. I called my dad and he told me to wait a few yrs and than join. well a few yrs turned into ten. On my 30th b -day i told my father that it was my time and that i was going to join the Army NG. My dad went off the wall. He told me about what he had gone through with the USMC while in Vietnam. He told me if i joined that i would prob be sent overseas and he does not want me to go through the same things that he did. I KNOW in my heart that joining is what i want to do, but i have to have my dads blessing. Should i just join and tell him or try to get him to see where my heart is?
