Considering their hatred for Israel - and all the hatred in that part of the world - I think it's best to keep nuclear weapons out of their hands. Various countries/societies/religious groups are all too trigger happy, especially when their quarrels have to do with religion. It's a good thing that no single coutry has a monopoly on nukes or, I think, they'd always have the final say.
