i told this joke and was frowned upon, i saw it more as a dig at bush and blair wat u think
george bush and tony blair are sitting in the kitchen chatting.
mrs blair walks in and says " what are you 2 doing?"
Bush answers "Planning ww3"
"well, whats the plan?" asks mrs blair.
"we're gonna kill 30 million muslims and one dentist!" repies bush.
"Why the dentist?" asks mrs blair
to this bush slaps blair on the back and says "see! I told you no-one would ask about the muslims!"

I think it's funny. There is a time and a place for ethnic jokes, and I see nothing wrong as long as people are telling the joke FOR the joke, and not for the evilness behind a joke. I tell all sorts of jokes, including my own minority jokes.

15 - 20 years ago that would have been deemed funny (it brought a smile to my face), but I can understand in the present climate that it was frowned upon.

Unfortunately, today people are way too 'PC', which takes the fun out of everything. Generally it is people who have nothing to do with the said joke ie the muslims or dentists, that have the problem with a joke like this.

Perhaps people should start to lighten up a little and remember that there are more important things to get upset about in this sad old world of ours, like famine, poverty, sickness etc

Definately funny! I heard the joke a long time ago and it went this way. When you are talking to a friend very seriously (like your pissed) say, "you know what, if I had one wish, I wish someone would kill all the Jews and one clown". Inevitably the person you're talking to will ask the question. And then comedy Gold. Jokes are jokes people need to take them that way instead of rushing to take offense. For Christ's sake Im jewish by descent and I thought that joke was hilarious first time I heard it.

Muslims wouldn't find it funny.

I'm not, so funny it is.

I don't take offense at ethnic jokes. Most are just that. Remember that Muslims were having fits about a cartoon where Mohammed had a bomb in his turban. They have zero sense of humor.

I found that cartoon, changed the face to Alfred E. Newman, and captioned it "Mohammed." I use it for my avytar. Maybe I'll put it up.

this a variation of the same joke about hitler which had jews instead of muslims and a tortoise instead of a dentist.
"see, I told you nobody would care about the jews"
That was racist, so is this, the only difference is reality.

But that is life, everyones a racist after gassing or allowing to be gassed another load of people they are ignorant about.

Only ones who would not find it funny are bigoted racists. I'm an ethnic minority, UK living in Isan, I laugh at white jokes all the time, but then I'm not a brainwashed racial bigot.

Yes it was racist. I personally can't stand Bush but I couldn't stand that joke more. Don't quit your day job!

its clearly not racist, but it would be more funny if instead of saying 'mrs blair walks in' you said 'frog face walks in'.

Boom boom!! Heard the same joke in Manchester a year ago - and damn...the teller was Indian (Hindi, obviously) - and being the North, even Muslims sniggered at it.
