Could the United States go to war with Mexico? Is the mass invasion of illegals into this country simply the poor imigrant looking for a better life or could it be a plot to distroy America from the inside out, or is it just a conspiracy theroy? who is against immigration? even though they should know that they were once an immigrants too? does anybodi ever know that AMERICA was built on the back of immigrants?? without immigrants, America wouldnt be the same America that is here today. SO what's WRONG with immigrants persuadin their dreams in a better country? TO the immigrants, AMERICA is a land of gold and a land of future. Its the place where they can carry out their dreams, so why demolish it? must you all be so cruel and selfish as to take that away from them? afterall, you or your ancestor were all once an immigrant yourself......so who is AGAINST immigration? and who SUPPORT it? b/c i for one DO SUPPORT IMMIGRATION.

I'm 15 and I live in Canada but I REALLY want to live in the USA. I have been there lot's of times, and I have relatives who live in Raleigh, NC and I want to live there one day. Lot's of people in Canada hate the USA and the government, but for some reason I have always liked the US and everything about it and this will sound stupid, but I even have an American flag in my room!! I want to know if I can move to the US some day? Is it really hard to get in, and is there anything I should be doing now if I want to go there when I am older? It's my goal to one day live in the US, so what should I do?


By the way, I have seen questions and answers on this section before, and I guarantee you, I will not be illegally immigrating to the US if that's what you thought.

Next time you ask a question...Look down at all the international we have on here...Why is it that USA comes in en Espanol...Now thats just sad...Nothing against Mexicans...But if your a REAL citizen then you would know how to speak and write in English...Thought I would say something about it!!!

And OF COURSE USA is the only one...You don't see Mexico with English as a option...

There are instances of Mexican military, working for drug cartels, driving across our border and ceasing recently confiscated drugs from our law enforcement. There are battles, involving rocket-propelled grenades on the International bridge between the Mexican and American side of Laredo, Texas. There are a growing number of gang-rapes and racially motivated murders committed by illegal-immigrants. Our National Guard troops, sparsely posted along the Mexican border, aren't allowed to have loaded weapons, much less engage incoming drug-smugglers/Mexican military. Our country is under siege! Mexican newspapers post ads that promise $50k USD for anyone who kills a U.S. law enforcement officer, and I've heard NOTHING of it in the news!

I was a exchange student last year, and right now I am in 11th grade,
The problem is my visa status is J1, and it also means that I am a holder of the student visa and can't work and drive in US?
I mean, I really wanna stay to study in United states...but The program is for 2 years, like whenever I get in 12 grade they are going to send me home,,so please help if you know what should I do?

I am starting a new landscape business this spring. I know I will have mostly mexicano's applying for the labor jobs. Can I call the S.S. administration and check the s.s. cards that are presented to me? And if they don't match the applicant can I turn him in, if yes who do I call? I want my business to be a good dream come true, not a night mare. Help me!

Do Mexicans like the idea of being incorporated as a state in the US? Or could they get a different kind of citizenship so they can do agricultural works-- or would that seem like second class citizenship?

It seems to me they are having problems with their government and need help. Is there anyway the US could help establish a good government in Mexico? Would Mexicans allow for such a situation to occur? Could America go in and do a complete reform and help reduce poverty and help rehabilitate crime? Or does that sound a little imperialistic? It just seems to me they need a fundamental overhaul of their entire system, as well as there has to be some unity achieved in order to have an acceptable outcome for everyone or some kind of agreement. What ideas do you have about this? Thanks.

I look through here and see so many proud patriotic people make their view be known on what they think of immigrants, illegal or not. Look back a few generations did you all originate from your country? Many proud Americans today should remember that their great, great, great, grandfathers were also immigrants and probably arrived on boats from Great Britain, Ireland, and many other European or African etc countries.

Is an illegal immigrant some one who does not have a doctorate? People with them are allowed in to any country they like at the drop of the hat? Are they not taking a job that an existing citizen could of had?

Tancredo said he was astonished at the injuries on Ramos' body, which he said did not coincide with reports from the prison earlier this week that described his injuries as "minor."

"His bruises were deep and severe," Tancredo said. "His arm, chest and back are black and blue with broken blood vessels on his arm. It was terrible."

Ramos was beaten Saturday night by roughly a half-dozen inmates who recognized him from a TV show that aired shortly before 10 p.m. He was pulled from his cell, which remains unlocked until midnight, by the inmates and kicked repeatedly by the men who were wearing steel-toed boots. The boots are issued to inmates for their daily work, according to the prison's Web site.
Ramos did not see a doctor until Wednesday, Tancredo said.




He did not see a doctor for 4 days!!!!! 4 days, what is up with that??
I think prison's warden, Constance Reese and her bosses should be fired for neglect.

For woes associated with illegal immigration???..

What illegal immigrnts are doing is no good - came here took the jobs .
But I think it was liberals who emboldened them to demand and get what they are not entitled to.

Would there be no liberals, no whining lefties, Uneducated immigrants would come on some sort Guest worker program. They would have limited abilities to protest/demand, so they would be doing thei work, and then either send their money back or whatever. They would be defended by some laws, so that employer cannot abuse them, and being more legal they would violate less laws, in order not to jeopardize terir opportunity to make some money. Plus kicking out illegal criminals would be easier.

The very idea, that they can get more, can get citizenship, can get freehealthcare/education, implanted by liberals causes all the (Well 95%) of problems.
