and reason for all thier hardships in life. I was wondering because a lot of Latinos screw over their own people a lot more than whites do, in fact white people in general just wish lations would stop blaming them for everything...that's the black mans game...you have to wait until the blacks are done blaming us for everything before you guys start. Doesn't it bother any of you that in Hollywood most of the actors casted as Americans are Austrailian or British? Look at that movie All the King's Men. Three of the 4 lead characters were British. Why are they getting into the U.S. and getting work over American actors? It isn't like there is a shortage of American actors.

I think that the media tries to make out illegal immigration as being some human rights struggle, and anyone who doesn't support is illegals is a racist bigot. Of course, us in the hot zone of the issue know this is far from the truth. It's refreshing to see an educated journalist and recipient of the Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award speaking up for the majority of this country. You?

The cities with the highest immigration rates also have the lowest unemployment rates and the strongest tax-bases.

The cities in the worst financial conditions in the nation (Detroit, St. Louis, Buffalo, etc.) have virtually no immigrants.

It ticks me off everytime I see someone say people who oppose illegal immigration are racist, evil, violent, anti-immigration.

Sure, we differ on how to actually SOLVE the problem..but first we all need to agree it's a problem.

And yes, i-l-l-e-g-a-l immigration (the term itself implying an illegal act) is wrong.

not breaking any laws by entering the USA illegally then how come the illegal supporters dont drive cross into Mexico and pack a few illegals in the cars or the trunks and drive back to the USA or even become guides to the and help the illegals enter the USA.

Is it because you the illegal supporter know its against the law and that you will end up behind bars or is its just easier to say you are a supporter as long as you dont really have to do anything..............

(Remember that if you think that if the illegals are not breaking any laws by entering illegally then helping them will be that same as you not breaking any laws either.....)

The obvious way to stop illegal immigration is not to build a wall (which will cost billions and merely divert the flow), but to go after businesses with strong enforcement and major fines.

Yet no one is doing this. In fact, they've cut the number of people inspecting businesses.

So the question is, are politicians...

1. Trying to enrich their friends in corporations that get the contracts to build these places?

2. Trying to keep a flow of cheap labor to their corporate buddies while still attracting the anti-immigrant vote?

3. Both 1 & 2.

Offer them gov. controlled jobs (border fence, deportation scouts, ext.) Other wise stay home and force the issue in your own country as to better yourselves, kind of like we are on this issue, and we are about to show you how good it works.

Oh my goodness! I am Mexican and have always lived in a border city. Do you have any idea what comes along with illegal immigration! If it was up to me I would let only the workers cross but we cannot do that because of all the low-lifes that cross with them. I've seen people get arrested for drugs, get deported, then 2 weeks later they're back selling drugs and putting our children in danger because of the stuff they pull on the streets! Wake up people it's not about racism, it's deeper than that.

i am from pakistan and i am travelling to uk as visitor for the very first time.i have a valid tourist visa in my passport. i have heard immigration officers at the airport ask too many silly questions.especially when they know i am from pakistan. i am not sure what they gonna ask me and what should i answer to satisfy the officers. i have all the legal documents but i m scared for the disturbance.
also can anyone tell me what are my rights in case they wont give me entry to uk while i have legal valid visa. can i appeal against their decision at the airport?
