I asked myself and others this question and i was told that bush was going to hire illegals to build it and when they place the last stone they are going to make sure they are all on the Mexico side of the fence.
Reality is that the same people or company who built the small portion of the wall that is already there, will be the people responsible for building the rest

I'm against racism. First, I disagree with building a wall because people aleays find a way to get around. Second, it's just a waste of money, make new laws. Not all immigrants are the same, otherwise you'll have to find a country to deport all those crazy people that go shooting around on schools. Anyway, one of the answers is right. IMMIGRANTS ARE GONNA END UP BUILDING THE FENCE... You know why? cause no one else is going to lay bricks on the border. Do you know how hot it gets there? All we need is communication.

I think the government needs to hire Mexicans to build it... Think of it this way: The government will not be providing benefits and they can get away with paying the Mexicans little to nothing. Finally, the Mexicans will not have much of an idea why they are building it other than that they are getting paid more than they would in Mexico...

My best friend in Mexico is a doctor, an educated man. When the first talk about the Wall (aka known as The Iron Curtain) hit the news, he laughed, and told me it would be built by illegals.

No, not illegals because I have heard many times that they do shoddy work in construction. I hope it is an American construction company who can prove that they do NOT hire illegals!
