We should be a secure nation. Who cares if people call you racist. We are not racist. We don't have to pay for the sins of our forefathersJust because you are white doesn't mean your a ansector of slave owners!. I think most peoploe rather be called a criminal than a racist in this country. We have been living with legal and illegal hispanics in great numbers for hundreds of years. Illegal Hispanics mostly came from area with no white people in thier countries...who are the arrogant one talking out of thier asses here? I wish the legal hispanics would have some balls and protest against the racist illegals

I have an Engineering degree, no criminal records, and I lived legally 3 years in Canada when I was 7, I also speak Fluid french and English. I´m from Romania, and my life is horryble here. I suffer abuse and discrimination even from my family.

the USA should welcome them with open arms and give them full benefits under the US Constitution when it's been proven they have some of the most strict laws regarding immigrating into Mexico?

In both cases, people from other countries are immigrating to another. The difference is, Mexicans aren't asking us to return California to them. They just want to come over. But Israel actually took land. The UN and non-middle eastern countries supported it, but if we had to give up land to immigrants like Palestine did, we'd be pissed too, don't you think?

If we were gonig to have a stand, it seems that we should be for or opposed to both ideas, not one or the other.

FYI, I think illegal immigration is a problem, but I don't think it's a bigger problem than arab terrorists coming here on legal visas and going to flight school. I think crashing a plane into Wall Street would be more detrimental to our economy, security and morale than Mexicans coming over the border looking to feed their families.

Just my two cents. I like Jews, Mexicans, Palestinians and Americans, so it's nothing against a particular race of people. Thoughts?

I doubt it.......they are self serving parasites.....Once they are a citizen they will feel the negative affects of thier own kind..it is so stupid...when will America wake up.?..It's not a human rights thing..it's a gimmie gimmie....i don't care about the economy, my country, or simple logic.thing.it's a joke......the illegals are all pride and emotion with no logic...which do you think is a better deciding factor for policy?

Some citizens: Get welfare~break laws~do drugs~get unemployment~get retirement~get disability~file bankruptcy~are lazy
Welfare~ is FOR AMERICAN citizens, PAID by American citizens
Lawbreakers~ are punished by fines or imprisonment
Drug addicts~ are dealt with through de-tox or they live miserable lives. Our problem, not Mexicos or Mexicans problem.
Unemployment and retirement~are paid by each person and they reap according to what they paid in or earned previously.
Disablilty~provided FOR citizens and must be proven.
Bankruptcy~A legal procedure, paid for in legal fees. A right if needed by citizens.
Lazy~there are lazy people in all cultures and Nationalities. Most Americans are NOT lazy. That is a generalization by some people who have not travelled across this country and seen how hard Americans work. The southwestern part of the USA is only a small portion.

my father was killed by a semi while changing a tire 3 yrs ago. my mother has a trial date ot 10-17. i found out on 9-22 that the man that killed my father is an illegal immigrant and is now driving again for the same company. i have asked my mothers attorneys why they are not pushing the illegal immigration thing and they say it is irrelevant. if you ask me IT IS relevent. If Kazimierz A. Kusnierz would have stayed in Poland where he is from , he would not have been in America where he killed my father. Andf now he is behinf the wheel of a semi truck again. I think because I live in a very small town my moms attorneys are afraid to go after the government. Does anyone feel that the government should be liable for my fathers death? I only ask b/c I feel since noone here knows me you all would be the jury so this opinio really matters before i go on. I have 19 days left. Do I get my own attorneys? I came to Holland in Sept 2003, and since then have had to renew a student visa every year. However, since 2004 I never got issued an ID card anymore. I did pay for my visa every year, though, and got a sticker in my passport (like a temporary verblijfsvergunning) to indicate that I've been staying in the country legally.

My visa expired 1 Sept 2006. I'm leaving in 3 wks and according to the Immigratie & NaturalisatieDienst that's fine, but since I'm leaving through Brussels I need to apply for a transit visa at Brussels airport. The last time I had a sticker in my passport was in Feb 2006--a Schengen pass that's valid until May 2006. My ID card (verblijfsvergunning) never got sent, so I have no proof that I'm staying here legally. I can't even buy a Schengen sticker for my passport from the IND. I don't wanna get in trouble in Brussels. What should I do??

Hello I'm a mexican and I crossed the frontier by the narco-tunnel two weeks ago, it was really easy, Im living with my cousins now, they have been living in the US for 5 years.

English is my second language, please excuse mistakes. Last nite 11 PM I put question here under marriage. I no get many help. My coworker help me type question because he speak English very good. I’m immigrant guy. Today I see immigration area on here. I ask again this morning on immigration. I need to ask about bring 5 of my chldn to come to USA by a sponser. I not want my coworker to know all my life. I telling him it 3. It much better today under Immigration. Many people answering and helping. Then I see som ar very angry, say mean thing, say I’m liar. Say for why your English turn very bad in just 10 hour? For why you ask to sponsering 5 chldn? Last nite you said 3. If I see thing that look like lie on internet I no get angry. If I don’t able to prove it is lie becuse maybe I wrong. When people see the mean thing some stop to answer my question. They think the mean people say the truth. What you do if that happen?
