Though there are differnt estimates of exactly when it will happen, it is pretty much universally accepted that as the system stands now, both Social Security and Medicare will go bankrupt within the upcomming few decades as the babyboomers all retire. Some estimates show the required outlays for the two programs to equal the equivenlent of the entire federal budget at current growth rates. Obviously this cant happen.

So what do you think will be the more likely "fix"? Much higher taxes on the younger generation or drastic benifit cuts for the older generation?

Could Thomas Paine arguments in the first part about the Origin and Design of Government apply to todays American government just as well? If we were to substitute the word President for King and Congress for Parliament the result is startling.

Bush Administration Quietly Plans NAFTA Super Highway
by Jerome R. Corsi

Quietly but systematically, the Bush Administration is advancing the plan to build a huge NAFTA Super Highway, four football-fields-wide, through the heart of the U.S. along Interstate 35, from the Mexican border at Laredo, Tex., to the Canadian border north of Duluth, Minn.

Go to: http://www.humanevents.com/
and search NAFTA Super Highway
Read for yourself, and act upon this!
This is no joke, no matter which way you look at it.

U.S. Senate Report: Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007
Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore.

A May 2007 Senate report detailed scientists who had recently converted from believers in man-made global warming to skepticism. [See May 15, 2007 report: Climate Momentum Shifting: Prominent Scientists Reverse Belief in Man-made Global Warming - Now Skeptics: Growing Number of Scientists Convert to Skeptics After Reviewing New Research.

Pork spending, 10 million to pay for lawyers to defend illegal immigrants.
9000 earmarks.
House approves $500 billion on it's way to the Senate where they will add over $100 billion for the Iraq war, then send it to the President who said he will sign it.
Billions lost in Iraq. Thousands of weapons missing.
Will you vote for a clean sweep in government or keep these parasites in office.

I'm on a website like myspace (but it isn't myspace so no blame on them, myspace is good) and you see there profiles that are racist, gay bashing, and sometimes they even do negationism (blood& honour and so on). How do you counter that and where do i have to go to get them removed or sanction them?

What I mean is, when did we lose our respect for tradition. I’m still very young, but where is the respect for the Office of President of the United States of America. You don’t have to be a 100% supporter for President Bush, you can even disagree with him 100%, to know that there is a certain amount of respect due to the President of the USA, all of them liberal or conservative. It makes me sick that the disrespect has reached such fevered heights that the young should be the moral guides for the old. Everything: President, Supreme Court Judges, Senator, Members of The House and all Government Employees all are treated with such disrespect. It is as if we reverted back to little children, with name calling and whining about people we don’t like.

At the link listed below is a plan to privatize social security. This plan proves that we can privatize social security and it will do nothing but good things for America, it will actually create a budget surplus within about 14 years. So, my question is, if this plan can work then why are we not implementing it? What is the opposing argument, the argument to keep social security? In this plan the elderly still receive their social security and people will receive bonds for the money they already put in to social security. So why not implement this plan?

I saw a hearing a few months ago President Bush was not in the hot seat several young flunkies. The hearing was suppose to account to the American tax payer what the 160 billion given to Iraq was used for. It was revealed large sums of money are being investigated as missing. 8
