Stop complaining. Bush will be out of office in a little over a year. The government can protect who it wants to. I'm not defending this at all, but the reality is we'll never know what was on those tapes and we won't know a lot of things that went on/will go on. Even if we did, who would really be that angry? No one ever knows what the government is up to.

It's "impeach" by the way.

First, its impeach, not inpeach. If you're going to call for erroneous impeachment hearings, you might want to make use of the spell check.

Oh, and what do you hope to accomplish through impeachment. Even upon impeachment, there's no way the senate would furnish the necessary 2/3 majority vote to remove them from office. Oh, but you were ignorant of the that requirement weren't you.

I can't speak for the President, but if I was erroneously impeached, and in my second term, I would veto every bill that had a comma I didn't like.

Why so Nansy Pelosi can be President, and Robert Byrd as Vice President? We'll be going through VP's like nothing, Byrd's going to keel over any day now. Then Condoleezza Rice will be our new VP.

Sounds wonderful, just wonderful.

Whatever happened to Patriotism? I thought our country was attacked by rogue individuals from other countries. And the last time I checked, the Government is in place to do WHATEVER is necessary to protect us. No one ever showed such disrespect for a President as we have right now. I know! Lets just complain until we get the right people in office!!? And who is that sosume? let us/me know! Yea lets stand together and crucify our government officials... that will look like a United country and definitely strike fear in the hearts of terrorists... So my answer to you is NO NO NO. Can we not stop and think for one second that maybe what our government does in D.C. is done out of necessity? too much to ask? fine, lets burnem at the stake, that really worked for other countries in history so why don't we try it out!

And which marxist would you prefer? If its so terrible to live under such suppression that you anti-American liberals keep whining and soiling your diapers about. The constitution in this suppressive country will allow you to renounce your hated citizenship and move to a better life in a communist or terrorist nation of your choice. Although the freedoms that you will enjoy in these kinder and gentler nations may not allow you to leave so easily.

You probably would have impeached Lincoln when he suspended habeas corpus during War time to protect the country. It allowed him to arrest anyone without cause.

... or maybe Roosevelt when he set up the Japanese internement camps by executive order. Also to protect the country during war time.

Read some history!

They aren't going to impeach them, there isn't enough support, isn't enough time, and there is NO evidence

As for the CIA tapes, I hate to tell you but there are a lot of things our government does that need to be kept secret.

I for one am glad those tapes were destroyed. The people that are crying now knew 2 years ago that they would be destroyed. Remember, that the leadership in the intelligence committees in both houses saw similar tapes, and wondered if we were being tough enough.
I know he was selected not elected and all that crap......well to those that believe that, please change your diapers......the smell is starting to spread, and you are getting cranky as well.
