Given how often U.S. citizens speak of freedom and how the U.S. is the supposed bastion of freedom, I am curious as to how well the citizens know their First Amendment rights. WITHOUT looking up the answer, can you list what rights are guaranteed by the First Amendment?

I was NOT able to list them all, having missed two. Given how often we speak of freedom, I would think that we all should know at least what those freedoms are.

china is rapidly growing as a world power, and with that so is their military.
they are already enhancing their fleet by develping blue-water ships, and have even admitted to be training hackers to shut down american communication in "total war".
and there was also that stunt earlier this year, or last year when they managed to shoot down one of their own sattelites with a missle that could easily be targeted at american sattelites.
so what do you think? it appears to me that they are preparing for war

It's amazing that many Americans don't understand own history and therefore can't understand/fully appreciate the present. I'm reminded of U.S. history when there were vehement debates concerning federalism/anti-federalism. It's not unlike the discussions occurring in/about Iraq now regarding decision dealing w/ provincial & central governments...

your thoughts...

This means that since our government is fond of the outsource route, why not outsource our whole government and have it run by the corporations. Have police, and if you need them you pay. Have schools and if you need them you pay. Have Hospitals and Libraries etc... that are self sustaining entities.

Or are we already close to a Corpocracy?
