It appears the English have succumbed to the Scots ruling over them. Just count how many Ministers there are in this government who are Scottish. If we vote in the Tories or Liberals, will it be any different?

On top of assessing council tax on double glazing, patios, new kitchens etc to screw more money out of council tax, the Government now wants to know everything about you including the above examples. They also want to know if you are a vegetarian, belong to a political party, what purchases you make at supermarkets and whether you belong to a dating agency.
This is all to enable them to assess your council tax!!!!!
I have read this in a newspaper today and pray it is not true, but I will believe anything of this totalitarian government.

This matter has been brought up in political realms for a few years now. The argument is that Britons don't take care of their £5 notes and they wear out very quickly, costing the Bank a lot of taxpayer's moneyt to have them replaced. Switching to a £5 coin will supposedly save of money in teh future.

Your thoughts?

The entire postal department in Chennai does not deliver properly the mails due to Old number New Number confusion. Lakhs of letters are wrongly delivered due to the Old Number New Number confusion. I also found nobody have time to really bother about this especially when I informed this to my opposite person he said that I have handed over your letters to the watchman to give it to you. If he has not given what shall I do? The opposite house watchman must have thrown those letters in the dustbin including some important bank statements etc.
I wonder whether Corporation of Chennai has any proposals for setting right the old number new number confusion?
Also, whether the postal department has any plans to work more efficiently to make reach the concerned mails to the concerned people rather than hand it over wrongly. Several crores of mails are to be delivered properly. Can they deliver without any old number new number confusion?
