I'm English and I like American culture. However people from all over the world seem to hate America and its lifestyle many countries also seem to be paranoid about Americas power. But do you think America will try to dominate the world through a world war, and if they don't who will be the next superpower to rule the world.

Why do most people seem to use the term "racism" in relation to the Mexican/US border issue ? It's two nations, isn't it? Is there a mexican race? Doesn't Mexico have Anglos,Indians,Spanish,Africans and others just as the US has? No one says there is an American race. Both nations residents come from other continents at one time or another, including the Indians. Isn't a matter of people migrating to another country illegally en mass ?

Hey Can any smart US people tell me why you people worry so much about human rights in other countries when you have a lot of problems yourself, invasion of Iraq WAS not legal and you should be persecuted for that, and how many children have you massacred in Iraq or afganistan today..huh, america losers? If you believe this please explain how the Democrats were able to find the facts about the story and the Republicans were not? If Democrats are better at finding such information about Republicans, wouldn't Democrats also be better at finding information about terrorists?

I think it's true. Look at the most transparent countries in the world - the US, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, etc.

Of course there's a little terrorism in those countries, but certainly not as much as in countries like Pakistan, Iran, Sudan, Chad, etc.

Does it make sense to you?

This is a very difficult question to ask. A week ago my dad had a stroke and now my mom is taking off work to take care of him. She has signed him up for disability, food stamps, etc. The only problem is the time she is taking off work and having no other income flowing through the house. She was told she could "maybe" get unemployment, but found out today that she can't. Are there any other government programs to help her and the rest of my family with the income?
