If globalism is necessary, it should happen on a different planet. Not necessary for the common good, but never the less Inevitable as death and taxes. It is a corporate world the the leaders just don't care about anything but money and power. Certain chemicals should not be mixed, and that applies to cultures as well. There will be hell to pay before this current messed up world will be able to see the light.

It is the consequence of human progress and technological advancement. I also agree with the Errandboy. We all originated from one small group of humans that dispersed all over the earth and are we now beginning to all come back together. Is that good or bad? I don't know. If it ultimately leads to the survival of mankind then it is good for us, otherwise it is bad for us as a species.

It will happen regardless of what we think. The problem is that it will corrupt the world and increase poverty.
