Government - September 2006

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Government

I read recently that Communism and/or Socialism is getting trendy on college campuses. I would like to hear from some of these commies on how communism is the best option for America. The winning answer will make no mention of President Bush or the War since its not relevant to the question. We are talking about changing our form of government and the percieved benefit of adopting a Communist or Socialist form of Government. Fire away.

For the IRS to put people in prison for not paying taxes? Some people just don't have the money. Who are they to punish people for being broke? And honestly it's not like failure to pay taxes is the same thing as murder or robbery. It's just bad finance management.

Or are we punishing it's people? How would you, as an American, like to be treated because of something Bush said? Would it be fair for let's say another country refused to buy our exports because our President put his foot in his mouth? Where would that leave our workers?

This is not rhetorical. Why do so many people use a question asking site to make general statements to support their political belief? Furthermore why does there seem to be such a conservative slant on this site when it tends to be opposite everywhere else on the internet. This is a legitimate question and is not politically motivated.

I never bought it anyway. Their gas tends to be higher than all the other stations around here. Also I hear 7-11 stopped their supply from Venezuela.

That guy seemed about as bad as Bush. All for the oil. And if I did purchase gas from Citgo, or another supporter, I would have surley stopped. Good job 7-11

If I remember correctly it is congress that sends us to war. All they had to do was say no. Should they not be held responsible as well? Im not a bush supporter. But I do think that some people give Bush more credit than he deserves. I don't think he is that intelligent to execute conspiracies. Congress also is responsible for how we spend our money and how much is collected in taxes. SHould they not share the blame for the national debt.? what do you think? if not why?
