Starting at 15 I spent atleast eight hours a day three days a week at the veterans hospital helping to take care of my Father. Ronald Reagan was President and he cut the veterans hospitals funds all over the country. The veterans hospitals were using 1950's technology. The veterans hospitals were dirty.
The republicans have continued to attack disabled veterans, old people and school age children for years.
How do the scumbag republicans live with themselves?

My case would be that I would want to invest it into something more reliable than our miserably failing government. Also that I don't believe it will be there for me when I need it later.

I've noticed that when they bring up historical facts that are twisted and very misleading. Is this planned, or are they completely uneducated. Some have said it may be drug related I don't know.

Currently, I believe our most brilliant and creative minds are in the private sector making more money. That is good but what does that say about the people who are in charge of running our gov't. Have you ever tried calling gov't agencies? Do you ever wonder why they can not deal with the traffic problem? Are you a Katrina victim and dealt with FEMA? I don't think its that they dont care. I think its that the people in charge arent competent enough because if they were they would have private sector jobs. What are your thoughts on the matter? and does this make you want to get a gov't job to make our country a better place? I am planning on going to grad school for city planning. If only I were a brilliant mind.

I have to to do an assignment and my mind went blank. I have to create notes or how notes would look if I was a delgate at a contitutional covention when the constitution was being written. I have all the chapter of my text book , but still can't think of any thing. I know how and what was talked about at those convention, but I have no Idea how to start them, Can Someone please help?

I am scared for my rights as a citizen. If we pass this bill that allows the U.S. to detain any individual in the U.S. or abroad who they feel has ties with terrorists, more of our civil liberties will be taken away. They can detain someone withouth telling them why, w/o presenting any evidence as to why, and prevent the detainee from protesting his imprisonment. What if we have protestors dissapearing off of the streets a few years from now, because the admin thinks that anti war/government stances fuel terrorism? Could you imagine being taken away to some secret prison for an undisclosed amount of time with no due process of law???

If thats not bad enough the Senate approved another 70 billion dollars to go twords the war! And for what???????
what is the fu cking course?? If we went there because sadam harbored terrorists, and had wmd and neither turns out to be true,... then what is the **** ing course?? when 70% of iraqi citizens want am. troops to leave.. why are we there??

I would rather have a mail box at my house but the local office does not want to deliver to me.I have neighbors with boxes but they are on the main road where as I'm on a residential street.It seems to me that I should have the right to have it delivered to my house for my convenience and not for theirs. Is'nt that why we pay postage?
