Starting at 15 I spent atleast eight hours a day three days a week at the veterans hospital helping to take care of my Father. Ronald Reagan was President and he cut the veterans hospitals funds all over the country. The veterans hospitals were using 1950's technology. The veterans hospitals were dirty.
The republicans have continued to attack disabled veterans, old people and school age children for years.
How do the scumbag republicans live with themselves?

Why do you direct this problem strictly at republicans? The government as a whole does not takes care of men and women who are or have been in the military. The problem is your to busy looking at one side of the problem, as is most of the country, if we are ever going to change anything that is wrong with our political system we need to attack the issue and not the source.

Not just the republicans cut the military budget. Every democrat has as well. When the military budget is cut it is not cut in the area of defense but to dependent military members and retired military families. It is what all groups both republican and democrat have done for years. Defense of nation in a military budget comes first and at the end of the list is the people.

If the republicans have cut the funds, why didn't the democrats re-instate the funds. Clinton had 8 years to do so - what did he do to help the matter? You cannot just blame one party for when things do not go in your favor. Many times both parties are at play.

This is a fact of life. After a soldier has outlived his usefulness, who cares? Not the republicans. Same thing is going to happen to the Iraqi war vets. didn't aleardy happen to Desert Storm vets?

the veterans deserve the treatment they are getting from the repubs. They may have been in the military but thet sure as hell dont know civics.

my family donates to the "Disabled Veterans of America" place and all THEY do is send us address labels and notepads!
