It would be silly to pretend that oil isn't a factor when Western economies are so dependent on it. However there were more than enough other factors as well.

They allow these dictators and vicious regimes to be put in power, they do business, sell them weapons, train them to fight eachother, then someone says, hey, why are you selling weapons to the enemy too, you're no ally. terror strikes follow. US declares to world, a war on terror, even though it had started in the US embassy in Africa and not the twin towers in US. Then they try to involve everyone through propaganda, deceit and blatant disregard for the United Nations advice. Now, with all other countries a target for terrorists, it's done wonders for the American weapons industry. Middle East now, Africa is soon to come. You are talking alot of Muslims in Africa. The US as a country, as a people, will fail. US military companies are set up for life. The US is to become a prison for the ignorant and the fearful and a haven for the corrupt. Basically it's only a matter of time before they get the oil.

This so called war is about securing natural resources (and dominating the religious food chain) for the future (the future of the elite families). If the puppet governments put in place start to think for themselves they must be replaced with another. If you look at whats going on in countries without any natural resources you'll find they don't really care and would just like them to disappear (but the non-productive people there are good for the testing of virus strains and pharmaceutical products).

Who are you, Michael Moore? How can you honestly believe this was for oil? Have you seen the price of gas lately? Do you really believe the world would let us do that? You really need to take off your Berkenstocks, get out of Starbucks, turn off Howard Stern, put away the L.A. Times, and wake the f**k up.

while there is a lot of oil in the middle east..
and they like to sell it to us.. cause we use a lot more of it.. (probably in comparrison to them)
and we want to make sure we get a good deal on it..
so imagine its better to have someone in the govenement over that way that you get along with and is on your side..
so throw out the guys who don't like you.. put in the guys who do..
and hope for the best :)
