This is not rhetorical. Why do so many people use a question asking site to make general statements to support their political belief? Furthermore why does there seem to be such a conservative slant on this site when it tends to be opposite everywhere else on the internet. This is a legitimate question and is not politically motivated.

I am appalled at the extreme venom coming from extremists of both sides here on this website. Both seem to be determined to 'bash' the other side and do so with great enthusiasm. I feel sorry for both. They need to get a life and stop publically spewing their bile and venom out to strangers. I don't think this kind of website mud wrestling serves any useful purpose or positively promotes either side's vicious point of view.

Why don't you get a sheet of paper, divide it into two columns, and write "conservative bashing" and "liberal bashing" above each column. Next, go through the questions and make a mark for each question in the appropriate column. I think you may be surprised by the results.

It could be that liberals are so scary and freaky that there is getting to be less of them.
There is no doubt that when liberals get on here screaming, and Hating America, and Hating Bush; that it actually helps Bush & America.
Liberals getting any power scares most people.
