I have a First anbd Secondary items list from the Corby Family Web site, but I would like to send somethings that would be a luxuary and pick up her day. Things like a mozzie net, sarong, insence, sewing materials, paints and sketch pad, any help would be great.

My grand mother on my mothers side is from the island of Lemnos Greece. She left property there when she left for the USA and I am trying to locate who and how to verify its location and registry if any to legally sell it for my mother or possibly retire there myself. The only t hing we know is the name of the town its in, but no one seems to know its exact location on the island. I need some help on advice and possible contacts that could help with finding out more info before I make the trip over. I do not speak Greek and my mother is too old to make the trip. This subject has been on her mind for 75 years and I would like to finalize it for ASAP. There has been some contact about it in the past several years from a friend she had over there but the friend has since passed and we do not know who to contact on the island. We need email or name of help on island of Lemnos. Thanks for any help.

I have a B.A. Are embassy jobs really hard to get? Are they only for the "elite"? Can an average person get a job with them?

... who has bought a piece of land in the Philippines and can tell me, how long it takes to register at the Land Registry in the Philippines. We bought a lot from Empire Estates and finished paying for it in Dec 2005. They told us the deeds would be ready in April 2006 then they told us it would be Aug. Now they tell us October 2006. I just don't know WHEN to say 'enough is enough' and go see a lawyer. My wife is Filipina and refuses to accept that something may be wrong. For other things I started to distrust that company, for a start because the Deed of Sale had already been signed by the rep of the compmay when we went to the company to sign it. The legal requirement is that a Deed must always be signed by the seller IN THE PRESENCE of the seller and vice versa. When I asked to see the lawer rep of the seller company about that... they were all busy so we signed the Deeds in the presenc of... no one from the company. Can anyone in the know help please. Thank you so much.

I have applied for b1/b2 visa last moth , and my application were denied.
I have been told by the embassy that my application was rejected as the officer assume that I'm gonna travel the US for immigrant purpose and that I don't intend to return back home , I have been told as well that I can re-apply anytime and presenting a letter showing that why I think my case should be re-considered would be helpfull.

As I'm afraid that my relations with other European embassies get affceted by this rejection, I have to re-apply for the b1/b2.

After consulting an expert visa officer, I hv been told that showing
that I have plans to immegrante to another country can help, especially that I have an official letter from the Canadian Emabassy that they are in progress of studying my file.
The question is :
1 - Is it really helpfull to present such document?
2 - Shall I expand the explanation or make it simple ?
