The original one was lost. Is there anyway of getting a replacement?

I suggest you speak to your local Mexican consulate. If that doesnt work, you may have to go to Mexico, or have a relative (like parent) try and apply for one from there.

Contact the municipality where you were born, or the Department of Health and ask for the Department of Vital Records in the Mexican State you were born in, and give them your name, date of birth and your parents' names; there is a fee involved in pesos so know what the exchange rate is to make sure you ain't being ripped off. Or, speak with a relative still living there to help you. Good luck... they're very, very slow down there!

Go to your local fake document supplier and he will get you one, or better yet, he'll get you a fake US birth certificate, since there isn't much demand for Mexican birth certificates.

Get another original at the civil registry where your birth was registered. Another birth certificate could be issued to you.
