Here is the link for the british embassy at germany:

http://www.britischebotschaft.de/en/consular/visas/

the site should describe the different visas that you need, and the requirements. if you're a student in germany, you'll probably have to fill out the visit form, pay the corresponding fee, and provide supporting documents - passport, letter from school, bank statements, etc.

Hmm, first of all, just get an idea what you visa allows you to do right now.

They don't really ask for your passport at all when you move within European countries, other than perhaps verifying your identity at the gate in an airport. If you go there by bus or car you shouldn't have a problem at all- though it still might be illegal, so just make sure your visa allows you to visit other EU countries (it probably does).

If your STUDYING in Germany, MY ADVICE IS TO GET A REFUND! Or you could swim the English Channel and forgo the legalities.
