That too, it seems that candidates have to go in person for attestation ?
Any agencies are available in south for this ?

Well its a correct move by the central government employed nowadays, for attestation you have to go there personally, no agent can do that and the one who says they can do are just bluffing and will do nothing.
I had been there personally and got my things done.
dear friend its just a one day affair , go to delhi early morning, at abt 9 am go to HRD with zerox copies of ur documents , and pay order available in the post office there itself. and a for m available with them. give these and get ur documents back in an hour.
from there go to MEA and submit the documents and u ll get them back immediately in an hour.
If u belong to Andhra Pradesh , there are special rules, so ur documents are to be first attested by ur mantralaya, in AP, before going to HRD.
