i was born in guatemala, adopted and brought to the US when i was a baby. i'm in desperate need of my birth certificate and social security card (both have disappeared). i can't get it in the US. what do i do? i also don't have any government issued ID (due to not having these documents). will that be a problem when trying to get these things?
i should also mention that the only ID i do have is a school ID BUT it says the name i've gone by all my life, which isn't my legal name. my parents were dumb and never properly changed it

i am a us citizen with a boyfriend of 2 years. i am leaving the philippines permanently to live in the u.s.. i want to help my boyfriend get into the u.s.. he already has a passport all he needs is a visa. what does he need to apply for this? bank statements? i could petition him for a fiances visa but i would do that as my last resort because we will have to marry within 90 days of approval of visa. we don't want to get married for the wrong reasons. also what are the requirements for fiance visa?

I've never allowed my primaries to sign for their dependents unless they are small children. My co-workers tell me that it is fine for it to happen (ie. on the DS-2019s). Does this cause any problems at Port of Entries or visa interviews?
