I've never allowed my primaries to sign for their dependents unless they are small children. My co-workers tell me that it is fine for it to happen (ie. on the DS-2019s). Does this cause any problems at Port of Entries or visa interviews?

I don't mind when they sign for their kids, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable with someone signing for their spouse. This specific case was a transfer and since I've never even seen the woman, I'm not sure she's even in the country and I don't like to have immigration forms floating around unaccounted for.
