My fiance is also in the US. If you want to have a job you will need to get a work visa. All the info is located on gov't websites. The only other options are a fiance visa or a spousal sponsership.
Congrats and hope it all goes well for yoU!

You can have a job lined up beforehand, but you can't work until you have a green card. You need to get married, move to America, and apply for an adjustment of status to get a green card. You can't work until you have a permanent resident card, unless you apply for a work visa, which is difficult and may muck up the whole process of applying for a spousal visa.

it's good if you have an education. post a resume online and be sure to have all your immmigration issues handled before applying for a job... you need work authorization.
which isn't hard you just have to get married and apply.
consult the embassy for that.

Know that *some* folks (not all, please) may prejudge you or typecast you for reasons not apparent to you. (In an odd sense, you might even say to yourself, "Who gets to be the last immigrant?") I won't rant too much about politics here, but items such as skin color and other aspects of body shape, language oddities, and oddities of *perceived* belief systems may lead to discrimination against you.
