She absolutely needs an immigration attorney immediately. Do not hesitate because there are very short time lines on these types of matters and if she is deported, it will be next to impossible to get back here to finish her education.
Good luck and be quick in getting her an immigration attorney. If you don't have any listed in your local phone book as Immigration Attorneys, call the state bar in your state. DO NOT HIRE A GENERAL ATTORNEY or someone who does immigration and some other area of law. You want an immigration attorney that does only immigration as it is a very intricate area of law with a host of peculiarities and changes.
P.S. to all the snide remarks - How many Mexicans do you know that are here on a student visa? Think people before you apply the fingers to the keyboard. Even if she is Mexican, she was here legally and it is quite possibly an oversight or an administrative SNAFU at the school. Darn, the xenophobia is killing me!

If she's being deported, she's chosen to not follow some requirement to stay here. That's a clear cut choice ... she decided to violate a law, she got caught, now there's a price to pay. I'm sorry, but the U.S. is about the easiest place to get into in the entire world. I don't have much sympathy, nor do many others these days, for someone who's here illegally. It may be sad, but that's the chance your friend took. She can go home, file the proper papers and come back, but she apparently can't stay here now!

Why did she overstay her green card? Why did no longer she bypass interior the process the technique of renewing it? it somewhat isn't any longer that complicated to stay compliant with immigration regulation. And why grew to become into she shoplifting? the two a variety of contain crimes. If she can not admire the regulation of the USA sufficient to stick to it so as that she would be able to proceed to have the privilege of staying right here, she merits her destiny. i'm sorry that she has 2 little ones she has put in this capture 22 project through overstaying her visa and shoplifting, yet they are the only ones i think sorry for.

First, she can file an apeal to deportation. She must have a very good and valid for the immigration magistrate to suspend the deportation process, such as life threatening reasons if she is returned home. For more detailed info contact me at hq@ifasc.org.

Just come back to McAllen Texas-international border 25 cents to cross . You'll be near I10 near New Braunsfels-Splashtown. I think i have been doing this since i was 5. Remember when your coming back through Mexico. There are coyotes so learn some Spanish and the bridges. And remember the Hildago bridge takes you back into McAllen. You could be Asian and still get across.

Wow! My eyes are getting tired from treading he exhaustive details you gave regarding your friends situation. How about a little background info first? If your friend broke the rules, and doesn't belong here anymore, then they deserve to be deported.

In order for her to stay here she has to get a temporary visa and if she wants a student visa she has to enroll in school. Call your Federal senator in your area and talk to them. They handle that type of stuff.

If she is getting deported, chances of her getting any kind of visa is extremely slim.
